Chapter 42- Driving ME insane?

WOW HOLY SHIT!! I can not believe the responses I have gotten from the last few chapters! I am beyond exited about this!! You make me soooo happy! Each and Every one of you, who loose sleep just to read my story and each one of you who get in trouble with your parents cause your too busy reading than to pay attention to them, and each one of you who do a happy dance each time I update! Thank you for sharing all the fun stuff that happens while you try to read my book it really does make my day!

Chapter 42- Driving ME insane?

Luke's POV




That girl is going to be the death of me! So its official she can use the bond against me, and I was suffering. I know I deserve it but I didn’t think she would actually play back at my own game. Eva has her rules and this seemed a little rule breaking for her. She has this thing where she doesn’t use any bond or link to get her way and right now she was all over using it. She would call me a cheater for it but seeing as she is using it too the playing field is even. Its nearly 2AM and she is still fighting. My wolf is in a frenzy to be with her and I am doing nothing but pissing him off by not going to her.
Between the innuendos and the innocent comments she keeps making are only making it harder to resist her. I really didn’t take into account that she was just as good at punishment as I was. She keeps flooding my head with all sorts of mouthwatering goodness and it has nothing to do with food. I have officially given up throwing images at her because all she does is take them flip them and send them back in more provocative ways and it was driving me nuts.

We were currently on our way back to the car. Her arm was linked though Megan’s and I was stuck behind her with the twins. She was happily chatting about something that I had absolutely no interest in right now. To be honest all I heard was noise from them, I really couldn’t pay attention with her ass 3 foot in front of me and I couldn’t touch it. To say I was officially frustrated was an understatement.
"Brah, I hate to say it but it looks as though your gonna loose." Brad laughed out softly.
Eva looked over her shoulder and gave a sexy little smile.
“Your damn right he's gonna loose." She smiled playfully.
I growled lowly at her.
"Eva your toeing a line you shouldn’t doll" I gave her a look that would have had most cowering back.
But Eva took my serious tone and my serious look and smiled brightly.

"You should have thought about that sooner Hulk boy." She said cheerily sending another wave of irresistible images though my head.
 Man, I hate to say it but I Love our bond but I HATE that she's using it. I guess I have always been used to having an alpha bond with the pack so it was easier for me to tell who was loyal to the pack  but its not like they used it like this.

 So all in all I was SOL and completely at the mercy of my mate and her imagination. I wish I could say I wasn’t enjoying playing this game with her I just wish it wasn’t torturous to me as well.
I narrowed my eyes at her playfully. "I could say the same for you doll." I replied cheekily.
She giggled turning back around.
"Right!" She said sarcastically.
I heard Megan and Trisha both giggle at our playful banter.

The ride back to the hotel was full of loud laughter and playfulness from everyone. Eva keeping up with her new dumb now touching rule she shoved her self to the front of the limo and wiggled in next to Eva shoving Brad to the floorboard in front of them. I couldn’t help but laugh when he huffed but accepted his new seat. There was never any point in arguing with those two, they always win.

 We had settled out where the new comers were going to stay until we got back to the pack house tomorrow. Deciding that the twin's most likely wouldn’t be using their room tonight much to the protest of Megan, they cheerfully handed over their keys. I couldn’t help but let my mind wander a little while I thought about the situation that Megan had been thrown in at the hands of fate. Man she was in for one hell of a ride with those two, no pun intended there. They were a handful to say the least. I knew first hand keeping them in line was a full time job. Megan and Eva grew silent shortly after this decision.

 Not wanting to be intrusive I tried to ignored them and easily fell into a conversation with the rest. I started to feel the amusement roll off of Eva as she looked over at Megan with a smile. I knew they were talking through the link but I couldn’t help the smile that started to spread on my face as I watched them. Megan's head snapped over at her with a look that screamed 'How dare you' and Eva chuckled lightly. 
'Something you two want to share with the class?' I questioned. I know I shouldn’t use my alpha abilities like that but hey it was fun to screw with those two a little.
'No not with you.' Eva smirked.
'Go away Luke this is girl talk.'  Megan whined.
I laughed. 'I’m sure. Couldn’t have anything to do with your little problem could it Giggles?' I questioned.
'What problem would that be know it all.' Megan asked.
'Oh I don’t know, The fact that your scared to death of your mate...both of them.' I chuckled out.
'Oh how would you know?!' She snipped.
'Because I saw the panic in your eyes the same as Eva did when they handed over their keys. Unless you plan on making them stay with Nate or Faith, I suggest you suck it up and face the music.' I mused.
'Actually I was planning on the hallway. Its not like anyone is going to come up and complain about the snoring, no one around to care.' She countered.

'Um yea there is... ME! And if I can hear them snoring through my door I may kill them. I only put up with that shit at the house, no where else.' I chuckled.
'So does that mean I'm allowed to threaten you with death because you were snoring?' Eva interjected.
'Honey, you can threaten me with all you want but its gonna do you no good.' I teased.
'We'll see about that.' She replied. I shook my head with a small chuckle and turned back to Megan.
"Giggles what are you so worried about anyway?' I questioned.
'Um...HELLO? Two Mates? What part of that should I not be worried about?' She asked with a roll of her eyes.
'Any of it.' I replied with a smartassed smile.
'OK so I shouldn’t be worried about both of them in my bed with me? Or how they plan on marking me? Or If I have to complete the mating process with both at once or if I can split it up? Or..'
'Whoa whoa whoa there, Don't you think these are all things you should be talking to them about, Not Eva and me?' I interrupted.
'I wasn’t talking to Eva about it. She was just giving me hell about being a Megan sandwich' She whined.



I couldn’t help but laugh out loud. I didn’t miss the looks I just got, but no one questioned it seeing as I was looking at my mate. I’m sure they assumed we were having a privet conversation and let it go returning to their own conversations.
 
 'Yea, that sounds like Eva.' I said looking at Eva as she smiled brightly at me.
'But I suggest you discuss these things with your mates and not anyone else. It might be a little more productive than worrying about it. I doubt they would mind putting your fears to bed...so to speak.' I smirked.

'Gee thanks for all your help Alpha' She mused sarcastically. 
'Any time' I said cheerfully. She rolled her eyes and huffed at me but didn’t say anything else.
 
Eva however did. I felt a tug at our bond before she spoke. 'You know its rude to interrupt someone else conversation right?' She asked feigning seriousness.
'Yea I know but I hate you ignoring me so I had to do something.' I told her honestly with a smirk.
'I'm not ignoring you, I'm just making sure you follow the rules.' She told me with a smirk of her own.
'Doll, you know I'm a rule breaker.'
'Either way you look at it I still have the power here.'
'You think cupcake.'  I snickered back mockingly, cause lets face it I hold all the power and she knows it.
She narrowed her eyes at me. Uh oh she must have heard that thought.
"You have no power here!" 
She roared like a possessed woman with a grin. Everyone looked between her and me then back to her before she finished her statement.
"Begone SATAN HULK Your power here is NO more!"

At this point I was having a hard time not laughing or even cracking a smile. I couldn’t say that for the rest of them though, there was muted laughs and coughs trying to cover laughter up all across the car.
"Admit it now and you shall have your reward." She droned on.

 I could see she was having a hard time not cracking a smile as she did.
Honestly you would think she was drunk with the way she was acting, but this was Eva, Random, loud, off the wall and a little wacky. All the reasons I love her.

"Those words will never pass these lips honey but your welcome to try to convince me."
She narrowed her eyes at me. "As you wish all mighty Alpha." She smirked.

The car pulled to a stop and we all climbed out and I can honestly say that I wasn’t expecting the next words to fall out of her mouth but I knew I was in serious trouble.

"Megan, can I bunk with you since I hold no power were I'm staying tonight." Eva asked with a smile.
"Sure, but I don’t think Luke will much care for my roommates." She grimaced.
"Oh don’t worry about them, they can stay with Luke." She replied as she pulled bags out of the trunk of the car.

I was so stunned by what just happened I wasn’t able to say anything for a moment until the Twins spoke up.
"Um, Eva, I don’t think I like this idea." Brad tried.
"Yea me either." Chad added.
"Tough my minds made up, plus there's plenty of room in there for the three of ya." She said with a smile.
"Eva you cant be serious." I finally said trying to help her with the bags but she shoved me off.
"Oh But I am and with that said goodnight boy's. Don’t stay up too late, we have an early day tomorrow." She purred as she and Megan turned and walked away into the building.
 
"Eva" I called.
"There is no EVA here, Only your pissed off mate with no power." She called behind her before the door shut.
Oh HELL, Me and my big mouth.

"Luke, its still a rank free weekend right?" Chad asked me.
 I growled lowly in response because I knew where he was going.
"Yeah, I know, I know. Fix it." I growled as the others laughed as they walked away.
Both the twins knew not to test me at the moment so they only nodded as they walked away as well but I heard their mumbles of 'cock block' and 'totally fucked up.' I had to agree though.
I was a total cock block even for myself and all because I couldn’t give in to my mate. But she will come around just you watch... She's still in heat and she can only stay away so long before it gets the best of her. I smiled at the thought and let that be my resolve as I walked through the doors and followed the rest to the top floor silently.
 
This was going to be a long night.






Chad's POV




OK so this totally sucks. Eva has hijacked my mate and I have no where to sleep...well I do but I really don’t want to bunk with a highly irritated and frustrated Alpha who's borderlined pissed off. I know Brad totally agrees with me that’s why he is stuck trying to talk some sense in to Eva while I am here trying to keep Luke from tearing me apart. And in all honesty I was failing miserably
 Man if I wasn’t so worried about Luke ripping me to shreds I would probably have gone toe to toe with him by now but seeing as he is my Alpha and he was toeing that pissed off line I wasn’t going to risk it. So I decided to go to the gym to workout some frustration with both him and his mate.
 
'Brad you havin any luck?' I asked him through our link as I left the room. Luke had just thrown himself on the bed and I honestly couldn’t take anymore of the huffs and sighs from him, they were driving me nuts.
'No, Eva is set in her ways and at this point even Megan is on board with us. She actually got so fed up with it she left the room about 10 minutes ago and has yet to return. I have no idea where she is but she said she was going to go for a walk and left me to try to talk Eva out of her ridiculous plan. She's pretty much game for what ever it takes to get the hell away from the fighting Alpha's as we are.' He said with a heavy sigh.
'Well We can always ask for our room back and she can bunk with us there and they can stay with Luke.' I tried.
'Yea I already suggested that but Eva had a point, Luke would throw a fit from hell if we even tried to suggest that. You know how he is about new comers. Its not that he doesn’t trust them...'
'its just he doesn’t trust them. I know.' I finished for him. I know exactly what would happen if we tried. It was a lame excuse but it was worth a shot.
'So what do you suggest that we do?' He asked me.
'I honestly don’t know at this point.' I replied as I pushed though the gym door.
I sighed 'Well just stay on it and I will try to think of something.' I told him as a noise to my right caught my attention.
'Yea easier said than done bro' He replied but left it at that.



I followed the sound to an a joining door and found the steam room door slightly ajar. I stretched out my hearing a little bit and found a steady heart beat that sounded familiar, as I listened I found it strange that my own heartbeat was in sync with the other. I stepped in the locker room and found a pair of gym shorts and quickly changed. OK normally I wouldn’t have bothered but I felt absolutely no threat to the foreign heartbeat and was strangely drawn too it, plus it was a steam room and I was fully dressed... seemed a little overkill to me.
