Chapter 3 'Wait What?'

Ok so this chapter is slightly boring maybe I'm not sure I have taken 4 days to write it could be a bit slowin the start. Sorry I didn't do Austin's P.O.V but I like Amber's and I don't think this chapter would make sense in his P.O.V.

Suddenly at the back of my mind I could hear this slight not even whisper trying to say something. Then it hit me it was my wolf trying to tell me something. I had been ignoring her since last time she toke control and went rage at Chace for being well actually it was so long ago I can't even remember. She just went rage at him, stupid wolf crazy, emotional ahhh. Then I hear it again only a faint whisper but I can still hear it. 'Mate' I freak does this mean that Chace is my mate wait but if he was I wouldn't be able to control myself around him, right. 'Mate' there it is again, who, when, why. I have so many questions for my wolf but just as I'm about to ask she blocks me out, probably because she thinks it will be like some sort of pay back for me ignoring her for so long. That makes no sense I wouldn't be able to tell if Chace was my mate now I still have at least a month and a half before the even get to smell him right. The only reason that I would find my mate earlier is if they are an Alpha or they have had their birthday already. Neither of which causes apply to Chace, he is neither and Alpha nor has he had his birthday, this makes no sense.

I have basically been rolling as a human for three months now because it has been that long since I have had any contact with my wolf, she just blew up right in Chace' face that is like unforgivable. Why would she do that now that I think about it he was only protecting me from well Austin, he looked upset and I was in a caring mood that day anyway I just asked what was wrong and he just went crazy agro at me. I ran away crying after his little attack of words towards me and Chace found me asking what was wrong I told him and he just kept saying how Austin was an ass hole and that he would go kick his ass right know for me if it wasn't for Austin being the future Alpha and all. As soon as Chace said the words 'kick his ass for you' my wolf just blew up she made me shift and started to claw Chace' face off. The teachers busted into the empty class we were in and pulled me back commanding me to shift but I couldn't control her, my wolf was just crazy it made no sense. No one could get me to calm down so they called Austin to command me to calm and shift back with his Alpha command. One downside to being a werewolf you always have to follow Alpha's orders no matter what. When they say jump, you say how high, the most annoying part is that as soon as Austin walked into the office where I was being held my wolf shifted and started whimpering, she is such a pussy. Since then if Austin isn't ignoring me he is laughing probably remember how much of a pussy my wolf is, that is almost as much shame as being an Omega, the lowest of the low in the pack. Basically an Omega takes orders from anyone you can get them to do anything you want and they can't say 'NO' our resident Omega in the pack is Taylor he does anything and everything for anyone.

My wolf suddenly comes to the back of my mind in a hurry. 'We are not an Omega and don't ever say that I act like one, that's just wrong don't disrespect me' she is basically yelling through our connected thoughts. 'Fine, but I have a question why did you blow up at Chace three months ago you had no reason he did nothing wrong' I say sounding calm and collective I thought but I was far from it on the inside. How could she just leave me high and dry like that no way to protect myself because she wouldn't even talk little own shift to fight or run. 'He deserved it he shouldn't talk about Austin like that' she says through the link. 'I know he is the future Alpha and everything but he was being an ass to us and you just let him but to put the cherry on top you rage at Chace for defending us' she is so frustrating talk about volatile emotions. 'I have my reasons and you don't need to know yet, let's just say you have a good birthday present waiting in a few days' I have no idea what she means my birthday isn't until a month and a bit. 'You're wonderful you know that right' I say with my best sarcastic voice, I think she could tell because she mentally growled at me after I said that.

I need to talk to someone I need someone to confide in. The closest thing I have to a best friend is Chace and I don't know if he will want to talk right now, but I need someone so I may as well try and talk with him. I need to go to him, I need to talk with him. Even if he has nothing to say I just need him to listen to be my best friend for half an hour, that's all. I bolt out of the hall and run to the only place I know he would go. I know he would have ditched after what he said to me, no way would he stay to talk about it. So I decided to go to the only place I know he would want to go after a fight with me or if anything happened he wasn't expecting. The same place I ran straight to after I found out that my mother had died. Chace was the only one that could find me because this was the one place we shared together with no one else just us. I secret child hood fought/cubby/all in everything it was our sanctuary our private place, where we could be ourselves and also have fun without the worry of parents saying 'no you can't do that' it was our place. I was almost there but I could already smell Chace was there, so I knew he would be able to catch my scent. "I don't wanna talk about it Amber just go away" Chace turned and said to the tree I was hiding behind. Surprise attack was a fail, an Epic Fail. "We need to talk well actually you need to listen I'm the one that needs to talk" I come out from behind the tree and walk to the one that supports our cubby. "Please Chace, my wolf has finally decided to come back and have a chat, I need to vent" I turn into the door frame and see Chace laying there no shirt and very tight footy pants, his muscular body so defined and those abs dam that boy is fine. Perfectly tanned six-pack abs with the sexiest 'V' I have ever seen, but to tell the truth I haven't seen many guys' chests or muscles. Yeah being a werewolf means that you are half naked most of the time but I have always respected people's privacy and they have done the same for me, well some of them anyway. Then I remembered the footy shorts were tight because they were left here form last time we came here as children, we would always leave a change of clothes here because to get out here quickly you would shift and run for it. I that must have been what Chace did because he didn't have the same clothes on as before or maybe lack of clothes that he had before is more accurate. "OK fine spill it, but I'm only listening because I can tell right now that it is going to have something to do with Austin" he says and I smile like a little child the widest smile I have had in so long I'm sure it might have cracked my face. "Well actually it has something to do with my mate." Wait no that's not it, I didn't want to say that at all I wanted to tell him that its strange how my wolf blew up at him about Austin but apparently my wolf has another idea. "Your mate, what about him you haven't had your birthday yet you don't even know who he is why are you wanting to talk about him" Chace looks strange now like he is trying to hold back a growl. Then suddenly I was lost in thought, why had my wolf said 'mate' when Chace had left from the hall at school. I just had to ask her 'Why did you say mate when Chace left from talking to us' she was silent for a minute then she started laughing 'Because we have a mate in this pack my dear one and I knew the minute he touched us today' she says and I can feel the smirk on her face. Mate is she serious I probably touched a 100 guys in the hall today, how am I meant to know who my mate is if I touched that many guys. 'You're not meant to know my dear I told you it is a surprise just an early birthday present' with that she put the block back up and I was left slumped against the frame of the old cubby wondering why.
