CHAPTER ONE:
ANDREWS POV
"Dude that's her!" I said gesturing to the girl on stage. She was beautiful. Air brushed tan skin and beautiful dark chocolate brown braids that reached to her hips that were pulled into- what I assumed an extremely heavy- ponytail. She had sark brown eyes and a angelic white smile. Her frame perfect not to big and not too tiny. A small waist with medium hips and a killer chest. Her small hands wrapped around the microphone as her heavenly voice waved through the speakers. She sang Trouble, by Never Shout Never. Her long lashes looked down as she went back to strumming her guitar. Her small pink lips curved into a small ohh.
I let out a breath. Head over heels. Already!
"Andy, cmon! How do you know that's her? You don't even know what it feels like to find her," Jay retorted.
I shook my hear. My heart pounding against my ribs and my body slightly shuddered as I saw her. We had just walked into the small club. It was a small club with a small dark wooden bar and small round tables scattered around near the stage while the rest of the space was a dance floor. Rope lights hung around the stage and dripped from the ceiling providing dim light. The stage was glowing along with the angle that sat on the tall wooden stool in front of the mic. A guy sat next to her with a guitar and a mic in front of him as well. He sang along but kept his voice so she was the main attraction. Good God was she the main attraction!
Her eyes lifted and connected with mine. She sang still but kept her eyes locked on mine. My heart pounded faster and she finished the song and everybody clapped lightly and she smiled lightly and blushed as I winked at her and flashed a grin.
I just shook my head again. "I just know."
Jay gave me a long glance. "If you say so freak. Just stop drooling for five and a half seconds and buy her a late or something. She looks like she's a part of the I'm-a-goody-two-shoes-daddy's-girl variety."
"Shhh!" I said loudly realizing she was starting a new song.
Mayday Parade, If You Wanted a Song Written About You All You Had To Do Was Ask.
Her voice was beautiful as she changed all the he's to she's and the hers to hims.
"Good God she's gotten you wipped already!" Jay exclaimed.
"Talk again Jay, and I'll stab you." I said seriously.
"With what? An imaginary knife? Ooh I'm soooooo scared!"
I made my hand into a fist and made stabbing motions at his side.
"They better serve beer here." He said lowly as he shuffled towards the bar.
I just listened to the song. She smiled as she sang looking at the crowd and I could tell she was struggling not to look me in the eyes again. As she got ready for the next song she pulled out her ponytail holder and let it wrap around her wrist. Her hair falling at her back and a couple strands down her shoulder.
"Um, I like to thank you guys for coming tonight. It means a lot to me, this is the last song I will be playing and it's another Mayday Parade song, it's called Miserable At Best." She smiled again an gave me a glance before she and her partner started to play.
I almost fell over listening to the lyrics.
Original: 'Katy don't cry I know... You're trying your hardest... (song goes on)
Her version: 'Andy don't cry I know... You're trying your hardest... (song goes on)
Jay burst into laughter at the bar burying his face in his shoulder to muffle it. People glared at him along with the angle who just kept singing.
"Woohoo! That was some funny joke," he muttered trying to seem as if he wasn't laughing at her.
I elbowed him.
"Can you blame me? That was your name, and she's singing a song about obviously a breakup that leads to her being a bit jealous but she knows to leave you alone! It makes sense to me." He shrugged.
I rolled my eyes. "Excuse me sir?" I motioned for the bar tender. "What's her name?" I quizzed.
He raised an expectant brow. I rolled my eyes and placed a twenty in the tip jar.
"Molly. She is a doll ain't she?" He grinned at her at her.
How dare he smile at her?! She was my mate! I felt my body go hot but the sound of her voice as she sang sent goose bumps over my body and I immediately calmed. Woah.
