Chapter Twelve

That night, Bambi slept with a man. Not sex, but actual sleep. After her mind blowing orgasm, Hunter had pulled her limp body out of the shower, dried her off and had placed her on his bed naked. At first she had stood back up, weakly demanding clothes but Hunter had just settled her back under the covers of his lush bed. 

Was she had been covered, she had lost all type of protest and had reached for Hunter instead. He had crawled in the other side, dragging her body to his to wrap his larger one around hers. Tanner had padded over their bodies, nuzzling Bambi's face before settling onto her pillow for sleep. Bambi had laughed and had used Hunter's chest as her pillow. 

Now, as she sat with the Queen, Jacey, Ivy and Asher, her mind kept drifting back to Hunter's almost loving kisses, soft coos and warm body. She couldn't remember a time she had felt so important. 

She still didn't understand why she had given into him last night, but as of now, she was in no way going to fight him. Something had happened last night. Something had made her wish to stop fighting him and let him in. She had no idea how or what had happened. But she wanted Hunter. She wanted to give herself to Sexton prince. 

She smiled happily to herself, then, settling back into her comfortable chair she was in. Hunter had woken her up with sweet kisses, telling her that he had prince duties to do and that his mother wanted to see her within the hour. He had left her with a lingering kiss, giving her a hot look before he left, Tanner trotting along side him.

"how is Blaze treating you, Asher?" Ivy asked, placing her hand on Asher's knee. Asher blinked heavily, as if she had been deep in thought before looking at each woman head on. 

"he is being gentle at the moment. I think he realised that if he isn't gentle he could hurt the baby." she murmured, placing her hand over her belly. Bambi notice the hurt in her eyes and she could only guess as to why the look was there.

Bambi wouldn't have expected for a woman to be sent off to another plant while she was pregnant. Cultures treasured pregnant women, looked out for them at all costs. So she couldn't understand how the GodLikes were able to send Asher off without a second thought. For Asher being pregnant alone made Bambi happy that they had been sent to Sexton. 

Sexton was known for their pregnant woman who were treated like goddesses. They were cherished and protected like no other for the point of carrying a life that was in fact Sexton's future. So at least Asher would be safe. 

"if you need anything, Asher, please just ask." the Queen murmured, her hands gripping together in her lap. It was obvious that the Queen was excited over a grandchild, and Bambi really couldn't blame her. Child were something to be excited about. She wished that Asher would see it that way. 

Asher nodded weakly, before turning her attention to a quite Jacey. 

"how are you, Jace?" Asher asked, Jacey jumping at the question directed at her. Bambi frowned at that, worry filling her body. Jacey's eyes skittered around the women in the room, not settling on anyone or thing. She fidgeted, opening her mouth then closing it again. Bambi frowned and leant forwards in her chair, reaching out to take Jacey's hands into hers. Jacey's eyes snapped to her, filling with tears. 

"I don't want to..." she whispered, the unshed tears suddenly over flowing and falling down her cheeks. Bambi sucked in a breath as Jacey began to cry, her little body shaking with each sob. Bambi could tell she was terrified, so terrified that she was running herself tired with all her stress. Bambi moved to sit next to Jacey, pulling her into her arms, holding her as she cried.
