I narrowed my eyes at the vile lady standing in front of me. She had a bouquet of flowers in her hand. She walked slowly towards the bed as I stared at her. She seemed to be pale and I could see wrinkles appear on her face now. Her chocolate coloured eyes now had big black bags under them and she seemed to be in a stressed and frustrated condition. I sighed and looked at her without any expressions.
“How are you?” She asked politely. Her voice was soft. There was only honesty in her eyes and voice. What had happened to her in the last three months?
“I’m fine, could be better though,”
“That’s good. I brought you these,” She passed me a bouquet of yellow roses. Yellow roses symbolised a ‘get well soon’ message. So I guess the lady was right. I did need to get well soon.
“Um, Kane do you mind if I could have a minute with Anna?” Kane shook his head in disagreement. This was when I stepped in.
“Don’t worry Kane. I’m in a bed. I don’t think there’s anything she can do,” Kane hesitated before getting up and walking to the door. As soon as he was out of the door I began to talk,
“Why Deborah? Why would you do such a thing?” I asked her shocked at the amount of time I had lost when I was in a coma.
“I don’t know. I didn’t think it would be this severe,”
“Did you not see blood gushing out of my head?”
“No,” Deborah whispered.
“Ugh! Deborah you piss me off so much! Why do you have to be such a bitch?” I asked frustrated. The lady had kicked me and put my in a coma. The lady was a freak and she was evil. I don’t understand what her problem was. As if you wouldn’t help someone up if they hit their head let alone kick them in the first place.
“No seriously what were you thinking when you kicked me?”
“I don’t know,”
“Nah uh! Wrong answer. The correct answer is you weren’t thinking!” I shouted at the top of my lungs. I don’t think this was very good for my heart when it was stuck to a machine because you could see on the machine that my heart beat was quickening. Deborah looked terrified.
“I’m sorry,”
“No! You aren’t sorry! You’re just sorry that you didn’t hit me harder so that you could kill me because you want Kane. Well you know what Deborah, you can have Kane, you can have my stupid house and you know what else you can have?”
“What?”
“Your stupid bitch of a reputation. You win Deborah. Are you satisfied now? You have freaking won this contest thing. I don’t even know what you are trying to prove you bitch but let me tell you something Deborah. As soon as I get out of this bed, I will be right out of your way and you can do what ever the hell you want with Kane. I don’t care anymore. I am so sick of you and your childish nonsense!” I finished. Deborah opened her mouth several times but closed it just as many times. She had nothing to say and just as she was about to say something I cut her off,
“You can go now,” I ordered with a thick tone of attitude. Minutes later a nurse walked in with a tray of food. The food smelt nice but when I opened it, it looked vile. This is what I hated about hospital food. It was disgusting. The food reminded me of Deborah’s face. That stupid pig, who did she think she was?
