As soon as I reached my room Lex was coming out of it. I tried to push by her, but she blocked me. "I know that look Shea. What's going on now?" I could tell she was still super sleepy, but she already knew me well enough to sense that something was off.

I looked at her like I was completely baffled. I was sure I didn't have a look on my face at all right now, my mask was too controlled. "I don't have any look on my face right now Lex..."

"Exactly. Now what's wrong?"

I groaned. She was going to flip a bitch when I told her what had happened. "You don't want to know."

"Shea, we've been over this... I want to know everything..."

"Well, you don't want to know this..."

"Yes I do!" she quickly replied.

"No you don't!" I replied just as fast.

"Yes!"

"NO!"

"YES!"

"NO!" I screamed at her, each of us getting louder each time we spoke.

"HELL YES!"

"FUCK NO!"

"Dammit Shea, just tell me. I will bother you nonstop until you do. You know I will." She crossed her arms and leveled her gaze at me. I took a deep breath to start yelling at her, but when I met her eyes it all came out.

"Fine."

"Good. Start talking."

"One word... Blade," I began.

"Oh, I am SO going to kill him! What did he do now?" I looked down and away from her eyes, not wanting to tell her what happened.

"Shea..."

"I really don't want to tell you... or anyone for that matter..."

"NOW Shea," she commanded. I decided I should just get it over with. She really would pester me nonstop until I told her. Now, I was just worried about how she would react.

"Well..." I look up shyly at her. She was standing with her arms still crossed and tapping her foot.

"Bladkisme."

"Ok... Say that again, this time in English please?"

I took a deep breath and got ready to run away. "Blade... kissed... me." I chanced a glance up at her face. At first she was stunned. Then confused. Then, the anger started to show.

"WHAT?!" I took that as my cue to start running away from her.
As soon as I turned and started running I heard her yell behind me.

"Shea Night! You get your ass back here right now and explain this!"
I reached the first door to freedom and opened it. I quickly shut it behind me. There was a huge thud as something, or rather someone... namely Lexie, crashed into the door.

I continued running and sprinted through the lounge and out into the hallway. I just continued running away, not paying attention to wherever my mind was taking me. The only thing I focused on was not tripping.

Suddenly I was outside, and I realized I was headed towards the garden. I continued running and ran deep into the garden, positive Lexie wouldn't be able to find me in here. I doubted there were very many people who knew this garden as well as I did. Even in the dark, I could find my way around it.

I slowed down to a walk, trying to catch my breath. As I continued to walk, I once again heard someone playing guitar. I immediately started walking silently, not wanting to get caught listening again. As I got closer, I was able to hear the lyrics. He was singing Always Be by Jimmy Eat World. I sat down on the ground, wanting to listen to his voice. It was one that could pick me up and carry me away to a different world.

He trailed off, not even finishing the end of the song. The absence of his guitar, his voice, was almost painful. I stood up and walked around the corner, hoping that he just might be there.

I peeked around the corner, but saw nothing. I felt more disappointment than I should have at not seeing someone that I didn't even know.

I walked into the circle and sat down on the bench. The song still felt awkwardly incomplete to me, as though it needed to be finished. I started humming the tune to the song. I slowly started singing the rest of the song quietly. I finished off, dragging out the final word reach. I let out a deep sigh.

I knew that I had to go back and face Lex. It wouldn't do any good to avoid her. I trekked back to my room, dragging my feet the entire way.

I walked up to the door into our room and paused in front of it. I felt someone's eyes on the back of my head so I turned to see who it was. I saw Bat Boy sitting on the couch, watching TV. It didn't even seem like he knew that I was there.
