Day in and day out,

I scream and shout,

Hoping someone will hear

My prayers so true,

My intentions pure,

Does anyone bother to see?

Judgments made,

Punishments claimed,

Without a hint of justification.

A second chance? No,

Now you kill me so slow,

Tearing my soul bit by bit.

What have I done,

To deserve this fun,

Or so it seems to you in your eyes.

Was it something I did,

Or a terrible bid,

From the moment this all began?

But I'm not one to complain,

Or struggle against these strains,

And try to break through these chains.

Silence will be my friend,

Aiding, trying to fend,

This conflict that grows in me.
