Steampunk: The Science of Fiction
Dedicated to
Robert Brown
Steam is flowing through the veins
Of a Victorian era gone insane.
Brass and bronze and copper wires
Glimmer in the light of coal fueled fires.
Clockwork mechanisms and Tesla coils
Create a place of etherworldly spoils.
The inventor's creations move about on well oiled gears
Bringing to his eyes relief and joyful tears.
The airship pirate and his crew fly across the world to pillage and loot
And when they come to face an enemy they do not think before they shoot.
The denizens are all not quite human as in their chests are stopwatch hearts
And their bodies are partially made up of moving pieces and parts.
Here the clock hands tick with the slightest friction.
This is a world based off the science of fiction.
