My Unplanned Little Miracle

Chapter 7 - It's Out.

After Dawson and his family left our house last night, my parents refused to talk to me. Dakota seemed to be having a blast though, because now she's going to have it easier than she already does.

I''m still shocked about what happened the other day; I was expecting Dawson to turn away when my parents freaked out on us, but he didn't. He followed me upstairs and comforted me.

I sigh, getting up and walking to my closet, picking out some jeans and a loose-fitted top, before walking to the bathroom to get ready for school.

"God, I do not feel good!" I groan to Lilly and Olivia as we pull into the school.

"You should've stayed home. Speaking of, how did your parents react?" Lilly whispers as we walk out of the car.

"Oh, it was horrible!" I say, slinging my backpack higher on my shoulders. "Dawson's parents took it really well, they even went with us to tell mine. But they completely blew up on us, my parents, and I just couldn't take it. His parents were able to calm mine down, but now they wont even speak a word to me. They've like, completely disowned me."

"They're just disapointed," Olivia says reassuringly. "I mean, you would be disapointed too, if your daughter got pregnant." She wispers the last part quietly.

"Yeah, but I would actually talk. And I'm nothing like my parents. They were in the same situation when they were nineteen, so they should be more understanding."

"Knowing your mom, she'll get over it by the end of today." Lily speaks up, patting my back.

That's true; my mom's always really forgiving. It may not seem like she cares about me sometimes, but she does. She just pays more attention to Dakota than me.

I suddenly feel my stomach clench, and my eyes widen in panick. I look around desperatly, before running down the hall and turning the corner, slamming open the bathroom door. I get the very last stall just in time, as I empty this morning's breakfast.

When I'm finally done, I hear the door open and Olivia and Lily come rushing in. I lay my head on the cool tiled wall as they come in my open stall.

"It'll be okay." Lilly soothes.

"I-I can't do this," I say, looking at them with watered eyes. "I can't take the morning sickness anymore! My parents hate me, and everyone's going to think I'm some slut."

"No the wont!"

I glare at them sadly, "yes they will. You know it."

"You're pregnant," Olivia whispers harshly. "It's just overwhelming you right now. But it'll get better."

"I hope you're right." I say just as a stray tear falls.

Then, my whole world stops as we hear the door squeak open. Gabby, the school's blabbermouth, comes out of the stall, her lips dropped in a perfect "O" shape.

I groan quietly, slamming my head against the wall. "Gabby-"

"I-I won't tell anyone!" She squeaks, walking backwards in shock. "I swear!"

She walks out of the bathroom in shock. She didn't even wash her hands. Gross.

"Great. Just-fucking-great."

"Maybe she won't tell anyone." Olivia tries, but we all know that's not true.

"She's probably telling people as we speak. God, why me?" I say, getting up and brushing imaginary dust off my jeans. "Let's just go" I whisper now, grabbing their wrists lightly, pulling them with me. Distinctly, I hear the tardy bell ring.
