1 - Why do you write Sci-Fi?
I write Sci-Fi because I have always had ideas for future inventions and ways of life. That mixed in with my craving to create works that tell stories of heros fight against the odds, sometimes winning and sometime losing. Just to simply put it I have always enjoyed what are future could be, and what we as writers can make it.
2 - You don't currently have any Sci-Fi stories on Wattpad, yet we know that you have some hiding away somewhere. Do you plan to upload any Sci-Fi? If so what can we look forward to?
Yes I do have a Sci-Fi "Hidden away" from Wattpad, I even started the idea from wanting to do the Watty awards. (Thanks Wattpad!) But as the story developed I realized I wanted more for it so I took the story down. The title of it is Payment, so be looking for it one day! But any way, I'm a Sci-Fi writer and love the genre so yes if your looking for some Sci-Fi come up to my page and there will be some soon. Things you should expect is plenty of action, aliens and a lot more.
3 - Of your own works, which is your favourite and why?
The work I have on Wattpad that I'm proud of is Choice, I really like the concept behind the idea and one day I might even grow on the story. But for my Works off of Wattpad it would have to be the novel I mentioned before Payment. I learned how to be a better writer from working on this piece, I learned how to make my ideas brilliant and I learned what it takes to be a Writer!
4 - Who do you consider to be the best of your created characters?
The best Character I have ever created would be Leonn Reece, (Main in Payment). He is what you would find in bars after a War, a guy that does anything to protect the ones he loves.
5 - There are many Sci-Fi stories on Wattpad. Which is your favourite?
Half Light series by AngusEcrivain, this gave me so many ideas and delight while I read.
6 - Let's move away from Wattpad. Who is your favourite Science Fiction author and why? Which of their works would you say is your absolute favourite?
My favourite writer of SF would have to be Jack Campbell. I love the way he writes in third person. My favorite would have to be 'Dauntless' of his works.
7 - Excluding whomever you mentioned in answer to the question asked above, who do you feel has influenced your writing most?
Orson Scott Card, the Enders game was an excellent read and i learned alot from the books.
8 - If you're anything like us then you enjoy Sci-Fi shows. Tell us your top five.
Stargate (Most of them), Terra Nova, Falling Skies, Firefly and I can't think of the other one at the moment.
9 - Now how about you tell us your top five Sci-Fi movies?
Star Trek, Star Wars, Serenity, and I honestly can't think of anymore.
10 - What song or piece of music are you going to have played at your funeral as your crew cast your casket into the vastness of space?
I'm going to have the Firefly theme song played as I'm launched into the Sun.
11 - If you could be any character in any book of any genre, who would that character be?
I would be 'Black Jack' Geary from the Lost Fleet by Jack Campbell.
12 - I say, "America...", you say..?
America right back!
13 - Oh no! There's been a Zombie Apocalypse! What five items do your put in your Zombie Survival Kit?
Pistol, flint, bullets, Axe, and lighter.
14 - What single scientific achievement would you like to witness before you die? A lunar colony perhaps? Faster-Than Light Travel? Contact with an alien species? Anything...?
I would like to see human robotic tech. I want people who have suffered wounds or birth defects to live normal lives, and contact with alien life would be cool to :)
15 - A few words for the SF fans?
For the SF readers out there, make sure if someone has a great idea you tell them, it means everything to those who have an idea that could change everything. And to you SF writers out there NEVER EVER give up on writing, even in your lowest moments. I know it can be tough and I know that sometimes you can't think, but there is always a way! Happy Wattpading!
