Porcelain skin, eyes open-set
Lips quivering, tears falling from their ducts
Thoughts clear as night, heart twisting tight.
She was sitting, knees held to chest, upon her own wooden floor
Creaking ever so slightly with her movements
No evidence of a distant smile
To far deep into the waves of denial,
Suffocated by the river streaming scarlet
Deafening screams she cries to the images; to forget
Sinister spirits hang over her
Never failing to leave
They hold onto her soul, like a death wrenching leech
Stealing her sanity, leaving it drained
Though one drop remains, though still causing pain
Porcelain skin, eyes open-set
She waited patiently outside the bar
Beer lingering in the crisp air
A noise awakened her eyes, and she saw
A body torn to pieces, a smile craved on, and blood streaming out
Like a scarlet river
