Love’s Victory
Introduction
Darkness, everything happens in Darkness, where no one can see. Darkness, the full moon is high in the sky above me, I look up to it remembering. Darkness like a black cloak, covering the used to be bright sky. I stand here look out into the Darkness, watching… waiting.
I see your eyes only in that darkness yet I know there is more eyes out there. Your eyes are brown, a brown that has a hint of violet, a brown that makes your eyes sharp and attentive. You look at me, as I am above you, I look down at you to see your black standing tall on your head it shimmers though and doesn’t blend into the darkness- it stands out like you in the crowd it stands out.
You smile your signature smile, that makes me take a breath and sigh your lips have a little bit of pink, that are pressed together to finish your model-like complexion.
Then the single spot light comes on me. Me-centre stage, single spot light in front of thousands of people.
I grasped my guitar nervously as I brought my mouth to the microphone. It’s bright and the light hurts my eyes, but it’s not too bad, and the weight in my stomach seems to get heavier, as I bring my mouth to the microphone. Nothing- nothing comes out, my mouth was open like a codfish, My mind goes blank and in that moment I forget what I was meant to do.
I look down to the dark crowd again the thousands of faces looking at me. My mother stood there smiling warmly, her cheeks a light shade of pink, a little lighter then her lips. Her blonde hair settled over settled over her shoulders, she wore a white top, with a black cardigan and black pants. She started lipping me the words of the song I was meant to be singing, but my mouth still didn’t move.
My best friend Micah stood next to my mum, her brown long hair waving down past her shoulders, her blue eyes piercing me, with their bold heavy colour. She was stunning and everyone knew it too, her eyes sparkled like stars and her red lips made her perfect appearance look untouchable.
I looked back at Micah’s eyes and saw they had darted to the right in sacredness, then suddenly the noise hit my ears after everyone else’s, the sound of a gun being fired that tared across the open land like a wide spread plane. I looked around trying to find his eyes again, but his brown eyes no where to be seen. All the crowd rushed to the centre of the paddock, like a sudden hit from god it became all dark again like a spirit taking away the lost.
Buckets and Buckets of rain began to fall, pounding down onto the thousands of people and the dry shaking earth. I threw the microphone down in utter terror, I could not find him anywhere, my eyes darted in every direction, he normally stood out, my one true love. But now I could not see him.
Something was terribly wrong.
‘Xavier!” I yelled trying to find him, but there was no answer.
