okay here is chapter 13 of immortal destiny :)))) vote and comment you guys even let me know what you think will happen and all that good stuff!! :)))) xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxox It didn't take me long to find out where Marcus lived. His house was on the far side of the mountain across the city and facing the northern shore. He lived in a small stone house that looked barely big enough for one so I knew he lived alone which was a relief. I didn't want to worry about anyone who would find this unexpected visit threatening. I sat about a quarter mile away from his house and watched the sea slap its body against the shore in soft gentle strokes. The wind mixed the salty sea air against the woody scent of the forest creating an earthly aroma that splashed against my skin making me feel peaceful and at ease. I could see right away why a place like this would suite Marcus; it was so Serene and just the place to come home to after a day of chaos. I clamped my hands in the dirt shifting my fingers around impatiently trying to decide what to do next, did I knock on his door? I could see a single light on in the front room so I knew he was home. When I saw his silhouette streak across the draped covered window, I felt nervous almost sick. I had told him I would find him and he had said he wanted to see me; I just wasn't sure if this was what he had had in mind. I stood up dusting the dust off my pants and ran a hand across my top trying to smooth it out, still a little weary of my choice of outfit. It had taken me over an hour to decide what to wear making me feel utterly ridiculous. Every other time Marcus had seen me I was either wearing black hunting attire or expensive clothing. I wanted to wear something simpler, so I would look like a normal girl just stopping bye to say hello. Just thinking that seemed absurd. There was nothing normal about this situation at all, he was dark Hunter and I was a vampire. If I had the strength, I would turn back now, but I didn't. I was so close it was no longer a possibility. I had to see him, to feel him and breathe him in like much needed air to my lungs. ************* I paced back and forth on the porch smoothing my hair out from the breeze that sent my hair flying around my face and landing in a tangled mess. I lifted my hand to the door and stopped, I couldn't do it. Cowardly I turned to leave. I was a few feet away from his door when I heard the hinges creak and light from the now opened door escape through the crack, casting a fluorescent glow out into the darkness. I froze my back facing him. Of course even for a normal human he would sense someone lurking around in the dark like a creeper. Being a Dark Hunter he was well trained to always be aware. "So, are you just going to stay out here all night?" he asked. I didn't turn around, but I could hear the smile in his voice. This amused him, why was I not surprised. I felt put on the spot as I slowly turned around to face him. He was standing in the door way wearing jeans and a faded black t-shirt. His hair was messy and dark as it fell carelessly around his face like he had just rolled out of bed. His eyes had a gleam of something in the depths of their silvery gaze and his lips were pulled into a slight smile that caused the corner of his eyes to crinkle making him more beautiful. Butterflies jumped around impatiently in my stomach. "Well, are you?" he asked again. By the time his last word left his mouth I was already standing beside him, making him jump back startled. "Well, here I am." I said a little too quickly and it ended up coming out snappy. Inside I grimaced, I wanted to come off as loving, but I didn't know how. It always ended up coming out slightly crude. He shook his head back and forth and I looked at him apologetically. "Well... Did you want to come in?" he asked arching one of his eyebrows. He opened the door broadly, gesturing me inside with his hand. I walked past him taking in the surroundings while feeling the warmth of the crackling fire flush against my skin. He had a sofa propped against the far wall and a book shelf that covered the other. It was filled with literature. I glanced at the floor and saw it was made of some kind of clay stone and it looked like besides the kitchen there was only one other room. When I turned around I was surprised to see he was standing right beside me.
