[Chapter 16]

Scorpius’ eyes were soon fluttering open as he felt the stare of a dim light above him as well as something on his forehead. Scorpius groaned as he had his hand reach up to touch his forehead, instantly feeling something damp and slightly cold on his head. He grabbed hold of the unfamiliar object and moved it in front of his eyes, cocking his head to side as he studied the bright blue washcloth that was once on his head. He turned his head to the side to see and then immediately wished he hadn’t. There lying next to him, asleep, was Teddy Lupin a mere few inches from his face. His body immediately recoiled, “Bloody hell!” he yelled as he felt himself abruptly sit up and hit something behind him. Teddy twitched and soon his body was upright in frenzy, the bright blue washcloth falling off his forehead.

“I don’t want to eat the jelly beans!” Teddy exclaimed groggily as he the drool on the side of his chin dripped. Scorpius immediately cursed James; he knew he was most likely the cause of putting him and Teddy so close to each other. Teddy glanced over to the side to stare at Scorpius, “Scorpion? What the bloody hell are you doing in my dream? And why is my dream now in some sort of orange cabin?” Teddy asked as he looked around to see the walls were a beige/orange color, something that looked an awfully lot like a cabin, but you could tell the walls were nothing more than something made from cloth or plastic. Scorpius looked around his surroundings finally and realized that they were in a large tent, one of those magical tents that made you think they were small but inside was like a small house. Scorpius glanced down to see Teddy and him were sitting on a few sleeping bags and there was one or two beds set up across the room. He immediately noticed one of the figures sleeping on one of the bunk beds.

Clary Riddle was sleeping soundlessly on the bed, her chest going up and down steadily. Her arm right arm hung down from the bed haphazardly, and to Scorpius’ horror it was wrapped up in some sort of blood stained bandage. It went all the way from the beginning of her wrist to the tip of her elbow. It looked like a large wound and then Scorpius wondered what had happened since he lost consciousness from throwing up and from the Confundus Charm. Scorpius groaned inwardly knowing he had done idiotic and childish things when he was under the charm, he acted a lot like Teddy. “Bloody hell, why did things have to happen like this on the first day?” Scorpius sighed as Teddy glanced in his direction placing his hand to his head, feeling the slight prick from a headache forming.

“At least you don’t have a headache… I think I might have hit my head when I lost consciousness.” Teddy groaned as Scorpius noticed Clary stirring slightly. Teddy glanced over to the side and then took noticed of Clary’s small sleeping figure and then of her bandaged arm. “Clary!” Teddy exclaimed as he was about to stand up, however, Scorpius tangled the Metamorphmagus to the ground before he had the chance to even try. “What the blood hell are you doing scorpion!? Look I don’t play for that team!”

Scorpius rolled his eyes and restrained himself from punching Teddy before he glared down at him, “Idiot, I just don’t want you waking her up. It seems like she had a bit of a long day and she needs her rest.”

Teddy frowned as he looked over at the girl he loved. Scorpius sighed, he knew Teddy’s feelings all too well as his glance went over to the girl with the long, golden curly hair; her pale, soft complexion radiant in the dimly lit tent, her pink lips soft and tempting. Everything Scorpius dreamed about was just a few feet away from him, if only he could just have that soft skin on his, have that angel-like beauty in his arms. Scorpius shook his head, blushing at the descriptions and thoughts his mind was coming up with. “You just don’t want me to kiss her again.” Scorpius heard Teddy’s voice as he broke his train of thought; Scorpius looked up at the grinning Lupin. “I’ve kissed her twice and you don’t want to be too far behind.”
