a poem for a friend
Dedicated to
A single tear falls down my face every time I think of you. Why?
How could you do this?
What did I do?
I can't help but think 'this all is my fault'
I know you admit it
And my eyes fill with salt
There's secrets you've kept
But still I am told
I cry out in pain at the things that I hear
These things I'm afraid of
These things I do fear
Hate burns inside me
I witness your pain
The things that I do see
The things that I don't
What you could be...
I'm sorry I know it
This saddening truth
They say if the shoe fits
I guess it fit you
I feel I should quit
