Think Vicky, think!! Should I tell her?? Oh-no what am I going to say?? My heart was beating rapidly, and I was sweating.

"Uh...Mom Trevor's fine!! He's the same. I talked to him a while ago, and he said he misses you and loves you. He's good. I will tell him to call you Ok!!" I said with putting on my fake happy voice. I can't believe I lied to my mom. Uh!!!! "Mom, got to go. Hope you feel better. Talk to you soon. Bye!!" I yelled quickly finishing off the conversation and handing over to the principle.

He took the phone and nodded his head. "She'll be okay. Please head to class" He said quickly with very little concern in his voice. I grabbed a Kleenex and blew my nose.

"Thank you." I said quickly leaving his office. To my surprise Blake was there leaning against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest waiting for me.

"Vicky, are you okay??" He asked standing up straight and coming towards me. I bit my lip. Should I tell him??

"Blake, my mom...she...she's in the hospital. Blake someone tried to kill her!!" I said quickly as fear ran up my spine again. James tried to kill my mom. WHY??!!

Blake nodded. Did he know about this?? "Blake do you-" I started to ask him. He knew about this and didn't tell me!!

"Yes. I just got a message from the agency, it was...." He trailed off. But I knew what he was trying to say.

"James." I finished for him. The word was filled with anger. Blake nodded silently. "Why?? Why would James go after my mom?? What does he want??!!" I yelled, wiping away a tear that escaped my eyes.

Blake's arms went around my waist and he hugged me. I rested my head on his chest, taking in his smell. "We don't know, but my guess is that probably he wanted to show Trevor something. Maybe something
Trevor did." Something Trevor did?? What did Trevor do?? I was so confused. I will have to talk to Trevor tomorrow.

Someone cleared there throat. I quickly stood up straight. It was the principle. Oh shit!!

"I believe you two should be in class right now. You're already late. Come on now, get going" He said eyeing Blake.

Blake walked me to my locker and then to my class silently. Giving me a peck on the lips he left. The day went by normally. Same stuff as always. Classes were the same old boring. By lunch I had forgotten all my problems. At lunch I was with the same people as always. Yes, Chris was there, he was completely chill. As always Chris was flirting with me and some other girls. Blake kept eyeing him once in a while which got me to flirt with Chris more. I laughed sometimes feeling so wicked. I could tell Chris was doing it for the same reason. Poor Blake!! But don't feel sorry for him, he's more of jerk than a nice guy, remember!! Brittany as always was on his tip. Yes, she was flirting with him, though most of the time he didn't pay attention to her, but other times he acted like I didn't even exist. Ha!! He's jealous, but not me.

The day ended soon and I walked to my locker. Opening my locker I found a note. It was from Blake saying meet me at the parking lot.

I closed my locker and left. Finding friends and ending the day, I made my way to the parking lot. Blake's car was waiting out of the parking spot. No one was surrounding his car which was odd. His friends were always around. Oh well!! I got in and closed the door.

Blake looked at me for a while and then smirked. "Nice day, isn't it??" He said getting the car out of the parking lot. I looked at him, thinking where this is going. It's not normal for Blake to talk about nature stuff or anything that nice. Was he nervous??

"Very nice day" I played along though my voice had doubt in it. The rest of the ride was quiet, and when it's quiet I start wondering.
