The heat from the summer sun woke me earlier than it should have. Rubbing my eyes I reached out my hand until it landed on my glasses. Placing them on my face I looked over at the clock that was hanging, it was only 6am. Groaning I realised that there was no way I was going to be able to fall back to sleep which was really annoying as meet up time for breakfast wasn't for another three and a half hours. I turned over on my bed so I was laying on my side in the direction of Taylor. Watching how she was lying made me smile a little; she looked so cute on her back. The covers were completely off of her, I guess the heat got to her too. Her right leg was bent in so her foot was touching the side of her left knee, her top was raised up showing her succulent abs, her arms were sprawled out on either side of her and her hair was all messy. But what made me giggle was that her head was tilted to the side so it was facing me and her mouth was wide open. Once I realised I was staring for too long I decided to join her and lay on my back and stare at the cabin roof, hoping time would go by but just as I turned my body I heard an adorable yawn come from Taylor's side of the room.

"Hey, what time is it?" I couldn't help but bite my lip when she said that. Her voice was so husky but extremely sexy. "Uh, 6.15," I replied. "We've missed the whole day?" she asked rubbing her right eye with her palm. "A M," I added causing her whole body to stiffen as she looked at me with wide eyes. "Why are you awake you crazy woman?", she spoke sharply, clearly in a lot of shock that it was so early. "It was too hot and I just couldn't get back to sleep," I replied. Squinting at me she sighed before sitting up with her back against the wall stretching and rubbing her feet together which made my heart melt at how cute I found that. "I thought you were tired?" I questioned, wondering why she sat up when she reacted so dramatically to me being up at this hour. "I'm definitely not gong to be able to get back to sleep now. I'll be too paranoid you're watching me," she spoke almost as if she knew that now and again I found myself just staring at her. There was an awkward silence for a moment while we both stared towards the door before she finally gave in. "So last night I did say we should get to know each other Henderson." I quickly glanced at her before nodding in agreement. "So let's ask each other questions, we'll get to know each other and it will kill time." My heart raced a little at the thought of letting Taylor Davis, Fenway queen, into my simple life.

My mind drifted off to our school life together before she interrupted my thoughts. "Right I'll go first. Favourite animal?" I laughed at how easy the question was. "I love piglets, they are so cute," I answered causing her to laugh a little. I frowned at her outburst, "why is that funny?"
"Piglets but not pigs?" She queried back at me. I blushed a little at how my answer must sound to someone else. "Yeah adult pigs are so gross. Piglets are adorable. But anyway, I don't need to explain myself, my turn." Thinking about how easy her question was I didn't want to be the one to delve deep, even though I had a tonne of questions I wanted to ask. "Favourite thing to do outside of school?" I asked expecting her to say basketball. She smirked a little while she was clearly thinking about her answer, oh god she was going to say something gross like boys or even worse, sex. "Just hanging with my family." Her answer surprised me a little simply because I had convinced myself something r-rated was going to come out of her mouth. Once I realised how cute her response was, I looked towards her and smiled. Her cheeks went a light shade of pink when she gazed back at me before she realised what she was doing and went back to staring at the door.

We asked each other loads of things, laughing at each others silly questions and sometimes our silly answers. Surprisingly we were getting along really well. I found out that she was from a pretty big family that she was really close to. I told her about my dad leaving and it just being me and my mother. She spoke about her love for basketball and hating the pressure that comes with it. She even managed to find a way of teasing me about being quiet and a bit of a book worm, and that's when my mind went back to how her and her friends treated me the last three years. I stopped giggling and my voice turned kind of sour. "So why do you and your friends like to bully people so much?" I asked now completely facing her with a serious look on my face. Her smile quickly disappeared before she let out a big sigh.
