(Time period- The week between, Book two and three, after Amy and Stevie's mating but before Marissa and Zach's)
“Tabitha Reanne Levins, I know you’re hiding in here so you might as well bring your little furry butt on out of that stall or I will come in and drag you out myself.”
“Damn”, Tabby muttered, “She finally found me." All she wanted was a little peace and quiet. Was that really too much to ask for? Just a small piece of tranquility away from that irritating wolf boy with the most mesmerizing deep brown eyes that she had ever laid her sights on.
Now, thanks to her cousin, Liza, it looks like that little bit of peace that Tabby had finally found was unfortunately going to be short lived.
Tabby slowly opened the door to the bathroom stall that she had so inconspicuously hidden in for the last hour and bravely stuck her head out.
And there was her pursuer. Her dear sweet cousin, Liza, standing precariously by the door.
Liza was tall, blond and an extremely beautiful femme wolf and judging by the expression that she had painted on her face, she was highly irked too.
Forcing a timid smile on her face, Tabby half heartedly wiggled her fingers at her.
“Hey,” she replied in an unusual soft spoken voice.
“Don’t hey me,” she quipped. “Get out of that stall right now,” Liza barked.
“Fine,” Tabby mumbled, straightening her spine and begrudging stepping out of the bathroom. It was more like stomping out and she felt every bit of the petulant child that she was so shamelessly acting like.
With obvious jerky movements Tabby went over to the sink and washed her hands not daring to look back at her cousin. Huffing around she made it more than obvious that she was not happy with her intrusion.
“You want to tell me what all of this hide and seek is about?” Liza finally asked after watching her cousin’s dramatic antics. Liza closed the little distance between her and Tabby, crossed her hands over her chest and scowled at her.
“No,” she replied curtly.
The entire time she was wondering to herself, how could she explain something to her that she wasn’t even sure she understood herself? The only thing that she was certain of was that every time a certain brown eyed wolf boy came within ten feet of her, her heart beat sped up wildly, beating a tattoo in her chest and her knees seemed to weaken as if they were no stronger than a newborn foals, leaving her breathless and frantic.
Tabby didn’t like it; she didn’t like this helpless feeling that was consuming her at all. She didn’t like not having control over her body anymore than she liked this insane urge to rub her own skin all over said wolf boy.
That wolf boy must have some major mojo going on to wield this kind of power over her, Tabby thought sardonically. No one and had ever effected her in quite this way before and this was one hell of a time for it to start now.
“Come on, Tabby. Something is definitely wrong. It’s not like you to hide out in a bathroom and you know it,” Liza complained. She was getting irritated with her childish behavior. Frankly she thought, it was getting kind of old.
Tabby turned in her direction and leveled her gaze on her cousin. Liza knew Tabby all to well. Tabby was just silently thanking the Moon Goddess that Amy wasn’t here two because then she would be receiving the tag team effect and that just wasn’t cool at the present moment.
All Tabby wanted was some time to figure out what was in the hell was happening to her and then time to figure out how to make it all stop. If she didn’t come up with something fairly soon then she was afraid that she may not have the strength to stop herself from doing something epically embarrassing, like jumping the poor boy in the cafeteria and kissing him senseless.
“It’s nothing,” Tabby told her, tight lipped and at the same time reaching for a paper
