I sit down on the porch

Watching the sun go down

Wishing that time would change its course

Back to the time when I was yours

I know I was stupid, and

We were so young

But baby now I realize

You are the one

I should have told you then

But only now I know

Ever since we parted ways

You've been on my mind everyday

Oh I know I was wrong

But I can't seem to move on

I know you have found another

But I still want to be together

I sincerely apologize for everything I did that made you cry

And if you give me another try

I promise to try my best to not make you shed a tear

For this time I will always be here

I promise this time I will be true

I promise this time I will show my love for you

I promise I won't waste this chance

This time I'll do everything I can to make you happy

Because only your smiling face is what I want to see
