Here is a new story. Tell me what you think before I continue to write.
The school was bigger than she has ever seen before. Her last one was not near this size. It was a stone building that looked like a castle out of a fairy tale. It could easily have been a small university. Savannah Walters rubbed a hand through her shoulder length chocolate brown hair. Her sea green eyes were watching all the students walk into the building. Her heart was beating unusually fast. She took a deep breath to try to calm her nerves. She had to remember the reason why she was here. This made her start walking towards the school. Her schedule was in the clear covering of her binder. She came to her new school the previous day to pay her school fees. The Guidance counselor printed a schedule for her then. Even though a family emergency came up and she couldn't stay yesterday, she wanted to be prepared for her second, first day of school. Granted school has been in for a couple of months for all of her peers, she is just starting back from a break she needed for personal reasons. She knew where her first period classroom was, but she walked almost too slowly there. She couldn't help but wonder how her classmates would react to the new student. Would they be mean or ugly? Will they be accepting and nice? Guess she was about to find out. Before entering the classroom Savannah took a deep breath and knocked. She had to walk in. This was her chance to change, to be a different person. "Yes, can I help you?" The teacher looked up from her desk. She pulled her glasses down and stared at Savannah. She was a middle-aged woman. Her skin looked as though she had spent every day in the sun. Savannah noticed that the skin on her nose was peeling. "Um... yeah I'm Savannah Walters. I'm new here. Is this AP Biology with Mrs. Smith?" Savannah asked. She now noticed that every student in this class was staring at her. Oh joy now she might just faint. "Yes I was expecting you yesterday." She answered. "Yeah I had a family emergency." She didn't like the way the teacher was glaring at her. "Well around here we have phones and we call to let people know we won't be joining them. Now come get a text book and take a seat." She looked very annoyed. Savannah walked over to Mrs. Smith's desk and grabbed her book out of her teacher's hand. She looked towards her classmates and only saw one seat open in the very back so she slowly walked to her new desk and sat down for an hour of lectures and stares. ************************************************** Savannah thought she knew where her next class was but she seemed to have gotten lost when she took the wrong hall. She just had lunch and was not sure where to go from the cafeteria. She should have just asked someone when there were students around. She looked at her schedule. Apparently there was one student left in the hallway, because she ran straight into them. Her books went flying to the ground as they collided. "Oh I am so sorry. I am such a klutz." She bent down to pick her books up. "No it's my fault. I should pay attention to where I'm going." A very sexy male voice said as he bent down to help. Savannah looked up and met hazel eyes she could lose her self in. Never mind the fact that the guy in front of her was gorgeous. He had messy brown hair that you only see in movies. "Hi I'm Landon." They stood up and he offered his free hand out. "Savannah." She shook his hand with apprehension. "Can I have my books back?" "Oh sorry here." He handed her books back to her. "Hey aren't you new here?" "Yeah today is my first day. I'm kind of looking for my class. I think I took the wrong hall."She said as she looked at her schedule then the number above the door to the classroom next to her. "Here let me see that." He took her schedule out of her hand. "All AP classes huh? Looks like I might be sitting by you in this class." I looked at him with puzzlement written all over my face. "I'm in your class right now. It's right around the corner I'll show you." He said as he handed her schedule back to her.
