I hold my breath as the double doors open on thier own, and the Head of Fire steps back. "To make sure no other elements can get into Fire's dorm." She tells us. "Your beds have your uniforms, and a paper with your name on it. Please find them yourselves." She looks up, at a clock hanging above the door. "Remember to be down to dinner in a half an hour. The Fire Common Room is through that door." She points to a door that almost blends into the wallpaper. "And by the way," She turns to us with a smile, and for the first time, I notice that she has brown eyes. "My name's Amber Renee. If you need me, find me in the Head's room." She points to a door on the far side of the dorm room.

I look around the dorm as Amber leaves us to ourselves, and walks out the door, probably to meet up with the other Heads. Slowly, the Fire Elementals enter the room. Beds are set in long rows on either side of the room. The bedspreads are dark orange with the big flame design on them, with the letters; E. A. printed in black. The wallpaper is all black, with white fire designs spattered here and there, and the carpet is all pure unstained white.

"Awesome." I hear somebody say behind me. I jump and turn around to see the familliar face of Chloe, who's looking around with a smile on her face. Then she looks up at me, shifting her bag on her shoulder. "Cozy, am I right?" I nod, with a smile, and she giggles. "Makes you wonder what the Common Room will look like."

A new voice behind us sounds. "All I know is that I'm hungry." We turn to spot a girl with short black hair sitting on a bed to our left. She wears a green and red shirt loose shirt and khakis. The name on the paper beside her reads "Piper Turneza."

"Now that you mention it, I am too," Chloe agrees, finding her bed across from Piper's and to the right. She sits down on the orange bedspread and sighs. "And I'm a bit tired. When do we really start our classes?"

Piper turns her head to face Chloe. "Two days after tomorrow. They want us to get used to being here." Changing the subject, she smiles brightly. "I think I'll like Amber. That trick with the fire back there was awesome. Too bad I can't even conjure up a spark." We all giggle at that as I find my bed beside Chloe's. I unsling my bag from my shoulder, and drop it on the orange bedspread.

"Ugh, too much orange." Somebody complains down the row of beds, covering her eyes playfully, and her friends laugh. I sigh, and look around my little place. There's a dark orange curtain on both sides, and at the end of my bed for privacy, along with a table with a flame shaped lamp and a red button to turn it on and off, and a large chest at the end of my bed. Under my bed, are pull out drawers.

I open my bag, and begin to sort my clothes into each of my drawers. I'm a messy sorter, so I pretty must just cram all of my clothes in a single drawer. I'd only brought a few more outfits anyway, but I'd be in my school uniform most of the time. My school uniform! I turn around to see what it looks like. So I set the uniform out, piece by piece on my bed.

The uniform is a black short-sleeved shirt with an orange tie with the black single flame symbol on the bottom. Along with that there's knee length black socks, with the fire symbol in orange on the tops, and a short black skirt. Original. I'll give it that. Not the biggest fan of skirts and dresses though.

"Really?" Piper Complains, holding up her own outfit. "We've got to wear skirts? Ugh, I'd rather burn it. If I could." Chloe laughs, and shakes her head without responding.

"That was my first thought too," Amber's voice inturrupted our little conversation. We all jump and look up to see the Head of Fire standing over us, wearing the uniform and silver Head's pin. She smiles mysteriously at our startled recactions before sweeping into the private room for her and closing the door. I hear it lock from inside.
