AN: I know its late to put this up but I wrote this awhile back on mothers day and recently just found it. I also thought the song fit. Enjoy.

"Before I was an empty shell on the sand;

I was merely an image, a speck in your hand.

My life shaped by the constant movement of your waves, back and forth;

You created the ground I stood on, you formed my shore.

Throughout my life I left more and more footprints on the beach,

The hardships and friendships of the past representing each.

And though those footprints begin to fade, and grow farther apart;

You will always hear, with that empty shell against your ear,

The sounds of the ocean forever in my heart."

I mainly dedicated this to my mom but I would also like to dedicate it to Supernaturalmom, who has truly been another mother to me, and helped through a lot. Thank you!
