Chapter 5 

When the bell ring for end of registation everybody dissapears before I can ask directions. Even miss barker. Even stephen. He hadn't even spoken to me.

I can't find room 201 anywhere I don't even know if I've checked this corridor. They all look the same!
'hey you look abit lost dontcha.' a voice says from behind me. 
The voice seems to be mocking me and as I turn around i'm preparing to give this person a right talking to. 
But when I see his face I'm shocked out of my words. Scotland must be the land of the most beautiful guys, because when I turn around. well really there's no word to discribe. His chocolate brown hair sits in waves around his face and he has honey hazel eyes that almost look golden.
He looks me up and down not even bothering to be discreet about it. A slow grin forms in his face. I can feel my cheeks burning but I keep a straight face. For sone reason I don't want him to think I'm just another girl who's gonna fall for him. There is no doubt in my mind that he's a womanizer. 
'you seem lost' he repeats himself 
'well actually I am. I'm looking for room 201 but I can't seem to find it anywhere' I say I can't help but notice how English I sound compared to him. I mean his scotish accent is dead hot. 
'well' he says.
 Taking a step forward. I take a step back I don't know why. But I feel uncomfortable with him close. 
'of course I can show you where this room is. It's out the back. I have a map here. Didn't they give you one?'
'no. They didn't.' 
'come in I'll take you there' he smiles. And I note it's a perfect smile so warm and genuine that I can't help smiling back. 
As we walk along the corridor I keep a safe distance from him. As I said before his presence makes me nervous. 
'by the way I'm Light.' 
'your what?' I say totaly confused. He stops and turns back at me. A smile on his face.
'my name. My names Light' he says.
'oh right oh sorry..' I apologise. ( well it is an odd name!)
'don't worry I get it all the time.' he says smiling. 'i often wonder what my mother was thinking' he laughs out loud and I can't help smiling. I'm starting to like thus guy. Maybe today won't be as bad as it started.
'i'm Alexis. But call me Al or Ali or Alex , I don't mind.' I say. 
'nice to meet ya' he says and sticks out his hand. I look at him funny. 
He laughs ' I don't bite' he says. Then grabs my hand shakes it and then slides his arm around my waste. 
This takes me slightly by supprise.
But to be honest I'm just glad someones being nice to me today. So I let him carry on. Even though this is not really my thing. Even though I don't want him to get the wrong idea.

As we walk up to the art bloke outside. I here someone call my name. 
I turn around to see Steven running up to me. His hair is ruffled from the wind. Bloody hell he's so gorgeous. I mean Light's cute, but Stephen's just beautiful.  
He stops running just a few paces away from me. He looks at Light in a funny way. That's when I realise Light still has his arm around me. 
I try to pull away from him but he holds me closer.
'Stephen' Light says nodding at him. Stephen nods back but doesn't say anything. I can't help but notice the hostility in the air.
'Mr Dogherty sent me to come find you. He figured you were lost.' Stephen says to me completely ignoring Light now. 
'Well as you can see she in great hands.' Light pulls me closer a slight smirk on his face. 'i was just taking her to class' 

'well since she's in my class it would make more sense for me to take her.' Stephen says in an openly annoyed voice. 
There is silence for a few moments. I don't know what to say. It's obvious these two don't get along. 
Finally Light lets go of me and turns me to face him. Hr brushes his hand on my cheek then kisses the other. 'See ya later darling.' he says ' I'll look out for you' with that he turns around and dissapears into the main building.
When I turn to face Stephen he's already walking into the art block without me. 
I run to catch up with him. I can't stand this anymore.
'hey slow down' I gasp and grab his arm.
He thankfully slows his pace.
'so how's your day been' I say.  I know lame but I need get him to talk to me. 
'been just great' he says. I can't help but get this feeling that he's annoyed that I was with Light. What could it be? Jealousy? I mean we did nearly kiss the other day. I'd quite like to actually get round to it. Even thou I'm trying to convince myself I don't want him.
