Chapter 7

~Grace's POV~

Danny. Black. Crying. Black. Sirens. Black.

That was the last thing I remember before everything went completely black. I opened my eyes to the bright hospital lights which felt like I was being blinded. 

"Ow" I said to myself. My eyes soon adjusted to the light and I noticed that someone was next to me. I looked over and saw Danny sound a sleep in a very uncomfortable looking hospital chair. I got butterflies in my stomach when I soon realized he was holding my hand. It almost felt like it was meant to be there. No. You couldn't be falling for Danny, not after what he did. But I couldn't help it. 

My thoughts were interrupted by movement from Danny. He opened his eyes slowly, but as soon as he laid eyes on me they shot open.

"GRACE?" he almost yelled. "oh my god i'm so glad you're okay" he hugged me but I sat there emotionless. 

"Are you gonna say something?" he asked. I just looked down.

"Danny, I loved you, and I thought you loved me too. But you left me alone in England where I had no one. You were the only one who could actually make me smile when I was having the worst times of my life. The day you left you promised me that you wouldn't forget about me, but you did.

"Grace listen, I know I was an asshole, I know I left you back in England to become the singer of a band, it haunted me everyday. I regret doing it, and if I could ever turn back time to stay with you, I would. I got caught up in the fame, but I really do love you." He said. He looked like he was about to cry.

We both stayed quiet for a little while. "Grace?" I heard him ask, then he tilted my head up so I was looking at him, just like he did on the day he left. "I'm so sorry for hurting you. I love you." He placed a kiss on my lips and it felt like fireworks exploded. I got butterflies in my stomach, and I couldn't help but kiss him back. We both pulled away soon after.

"Wow, I missed this." he said smiling. I couldn't help but smile back at him. "That's the first time you actually smiled at me in a really long time." he said smiling back. 

"Grace?" he asked taking my hand in his once again. "Yes?" I asked looking at him. "Will you be my girlfriend..again?" he chuckled. I laughed and rolled my eyes. "Of course" I said.

His eyes lit up by the sound of those words. "Really?" he asked in shock. "Yes" I said and kissed him once again. He placed his forhead against mine "I missed you." he said. "I missed you too" I said back. 

I looked over at the clock and it read 1:30 am. "Well i'm gonna get to bed, it's late." I said almost falling asleep. "Yeah me too" he said. He layed back in the hospital chair and shut his eyes. I felt bad, I didn't want him to have to sleep on that chair.

"Danny?" I said. He opened his eyes back up. "Yeah?" he asked. "You can sleep with me if you want to." I said scooting over a bit. He stood up and dimmed the lights a bit and  walked over to the hospital bed and got under the covers. "better?" I asked him. He pulled me closer to him, "much better" he said. He kissed me one more time and I snuggled into his chest before falling asleep in his arms.

SOOOO DANNY AND GRACE ARE TOGETHER NOWWWW HOLYSHITBALLS.
