It's time to get on the plane. Our flight was called. I tried finding Mira this morning to say goodbye but I couldn't find her. Probably off with Damien somewhere. I text her later. Alex and I got second class tickets and we found our seats easily. Now time to wait to take off. Alex was holding my hand as we went up in the air. I may not have been nervous about him meeting my parents yesterday but now I am. I was fidgeting with mine and his fingers. "Calm down Elle. What's wrong?" "Maybe this wasn't a good idea to bring you." "Are you embarrassed of me?" "No of my parents." "Oh, it's fine. I'll try my best to make a good impression." "Thanks." "Now calm down and let's listen to some music." He got out his iPod and we started listening to some music. I cuddled up to him and he put his arm around me. Only a couple more hours. ----A couple hours later---- Someone was shaking me. My eyes fluttered open. I must've fallen asleep when we were listening to a slower song. "Elle. We're about to land." "Oh." I rubbed my eyes and buckled my seat belt. We landed got off the plane and got our stuff. It took a while but now we are waiting out in the rain for my parents. Alex was smart enough to have an umbrella buried in his bag and pulled it out for us. I started shivering and he put an arm around me. Then I saw my car. My parents pulled in front of us and my mom jumped out and gave me a big hug. My dad kind of hung back for a second. I saw his face and he was definitely sizing up Alex to see how he can possibly kill him without anyone noticing. "Dad!" I said going up and giving him a hug trying to distract him from his murderous thoughts. "Hey sweetie! It's good to see you." He smiled, then went to take from Alex and put them in the car. Alex graciously helped my father while my mother and I stood back a little and talked. "Elle you didn't tell me he was so handsome, although he does need a hair cut." "Yeah he's something else." "Is he nice?" "Very." "Respectful?" "Mom he's the sweetest most respectful guy I've ever met. He's been really good to me." "Your father's just a little upset because you know how he has always had your life all planned out? Well the Jenkins are going to be visiting us and he's always wanted you to marry Jake." "Wait they're going to be here this week?!" "Yes, In the hotel down the street." Not good, not good, not good! My dad has been friends with these people for a long time and they have a son that's a year older than me, he's a complete pig! Jake....it gives me shivers just thinking of him. He knows as well as I do that our families want us together so he's been trying to get me forever, but I'm as stubborn as they come. I guess it's kind of good that Alex is here that way Jake may get the idea that I'm not on the market. Jake is not extremely good looking but he can pass for cute. Alex is the sexiest man alive so there's no competition there, but anyways Jake has blond short hair that he spikes in the front. He always wears a simple white t shirt with jeans, nothing else! He has plain brown eyes and blotchy white skin. He's just barely cute. I don't know I haven't seen him in over a year so he might look different. Maybe taller, he's always been really short. This is going to be an even more interesting week. After my dad and Alex finished putting the bags in the car we all piled in and drove home. It's kind of nice being back home. After unloading all the stuff I went to the guest room where Alex was staying. "Hey." I said leaning against the door frame. He was lying on the bed. "Hey." He smiled. I went and sat next to him. "I have to tell you something." Now he looked worried. "It's not extremely bad, but we're having some people over tonight, and I guess the rest of the week, that aren't the most pleasant. They have a son that's a year older than us and he's kind of......I guess got the mindset that we're going to get married because are parents are such good friends." Alex sat up at this and scooted closer to me. "Trust me when I say you have no competition with him, but he's going to probably be an ass to you." "If he tries anything he will regret it. At you or me." "I know. I was just giving you the heads up." "So I have no competition?" "None! He's not half as sweet, caring, smart, funny, or sexy as you are." I said with a seductive grin. He chuckled. "Don't say that. I don't want to get kicked out of your house for kissing you."
