Chapter 1: Stranger


everyone once in there lives look up at the sky and wonder there has to be more.







"buzz buzz"
"stupid alarm clock" moaning glancing at the LED display its only three firkin little brother.
"Ben your are a nerd!" I yelled even though its Monday there is no reason for it, so giving up on turning it to snooze I through it at the door. Failing to fall asleep I crawled out of bed my thick hair frizzed and matted its going to take for ever to fix it so it was kind of good that he woke me up.but I am still going to get him back. I booted my laptop I got last year for my birthday all my friends begged me to get one at first but I didn't see the point in fighting over a laptop. While I waited I dragged feet to the bathroom "oh for the love of..." my hair never did like me, running my fingers through my hair I looked into my almond colour eyes and the shadows around them it looked like I haven't slept in weeks the truth is a couple weeks ago my nightmares started and I have barely slept. The soda I had last night did a good job of working its may through my system but I have all ways had a slim figure cause I have a fast metabolism and I had some good curves I there to help my dating life a bit.

Sinking in my swivel chair peering at my in box..no mail and no one online no nothing why did my friends beg me if no one was online. Great now thinks to my brother I got nothing to but homework and I haven't got a clue it was physics so you could under stand. So I cleaned my room for the next four hours. I was sorting through my cloths and I still needed an extra hour it was that bad.

That is when a creak outside my door told me Ben was guilty for the alarm clock stunt I boltted for the door but he made it to his morning shower before I got him, that little monkey fine then if you want to fight ill give you one.
After getting dressed for school which is simple for me cause I don't wear anything "in fashion" as Marilyn would say it one posh poodle you don't want to piss off she is what you would call a daddies girl a rich daddies girl. Any ways I didn't like to stand out so I covered myself in faded blue jeans and a dull grey jumper

Making my way down stairs another one of Ben's habits is leaving his dirty cloths for public display. You got to love the smell of the morning coffee when you are turning all the taps on cold scolding my brother any second now "AAAAAAAAAAA!!" there we go, almost even.
Sipping a double dose of caffeine sludge Ben came yelling "what the hell are you playing at?"
"hey Ben where's your towel" I took a quick snapshot on the camera I was hiding. "now you wake me at another ungodly hour again and your school is going to have barely legal posters of you k?"
I threatened raising one very thin eyebrow at him "and not word of this to mom or dad and you mite want to cover up I don't think mom's hangover can handle your birthday suit." satisfied I watch him stomp up stairs.

It was a cold morning as I step outside glad I got a coat from my nan last winter on. "nerd hurry up or we will be late!" I shouted through the door up the stairs. "don't worry you be able to see Kevin before school starts." he called back taking the steps two at a time. "I tolled you I am not seeing him any more!" I mumbled. Actually I haven't seen him since he said he was forced into hard labour on him grandparents farm. Taking cautious steps on the icy pathway to my "Mitsubishi warrior" that my dad got me for my 16th (go dad!!) if I didn't have that I don't think I could go anywhere with our wet weather there are always accidents and you know they are just passer-by. Foot steps came flopping from behind me and the nerd sending me stumbling into our roes bush, recovering my self swiftly "think nerd, don't piss me off not on the first day back." growled pulling some leaves from my hair. "what did I do now, look I am sorry about the clock ok?" he said with a worried look on his face. Behind that face though is a cunning fox that's why he gets a girlfriend a week sometimes different but most of the time they pile up and I can't see why girl likes him with blond hair and green eyes and a face that's as pinched as a mouse not a very good combo.

Ben and I don't go the same school he complained the year he was suppose to come to my school that me met some friends in summer camp (best summer ever!) that went to a different school. So with my mom out for drink all the time and with dad always working and with me all to happy to not have him in my school he got his way.
