okay so this is a poem i wrote in 2001 when my grandfather passed away that i read at his funeral so i hope you all enjoy
Lord, you've taken a loved one, one that did not always walk the straight in narrow path, but he tried to change, even though it was near the very end.
Lord, this angel did somethings wrong in his life, but you and i now he had a good heart and always meant well.
he leaves behind a loving wife and children, family and friends, that will truely miss him and will always remember him.
so Lord, please take special care of this angel, for i know you opened your arms and said "welcome home my son your mansion is complete".
and Lord, please let him know that he was truely loved by everyone that knew him during his short time on earth, and although in heaven he maybe just another angel,
he'll always be warren rhoden to us.
