Ms Nerd and Mr Jock: Chapter 6

Chapter 6

"It's not funny." I glared at him and resumed packing my clothes. It wasn't like I packed lots of clothes, I was actually just stuffing a few into my backpack. I could feel Cameron standing there watching me as I stufffed clothes into my backpack. What was with that guy? Didn't he ever see Tiana stuffing clothes in a backpack before? Oh wait, Tiana was girly. 

I laughed about that fact, almost forgetting Cameron was in the same room. "Why are you laughing?" he raised an eyebrow. Great, what was I going to say? 'Oh Cammy! Tiana is girly and I bet you're curious on why I'm different from her!' That was probably the lamest answer I had to come up in my whole life.

"Nothing, Cameron. I'm going to take a shower now. So order some pizza and it's on me. Tonight, we're having movie night!" Usually Leon and I had movie nights on Fridays but since I was secretly celebrating Cameron being friends with moi again, I figured maybe tonight could be movie night. 

"Fine. Whatever, nerd." What's with the nerd calling? A habit or something? Of course I didn't said that but it was kind of annoying when he called me nerd. Plus I didn't even look like a nerd. After Cameron went out of my room, a frown slowly formed on my face.

"Get the door, Cameron!" I shouted over to the 'living room' since I was in my room. I had to shout since we were in a mansion. The door bell probably rang for about five times since I got out from the shower. 

I heard the door closed and Isabel's high-pitched shriek. The pizza must have came. I quickly got to the living room where the three of them were sitting on the sofa with pizza on Leon's hand since he was sitting in the middle. The TV was showing 'Elektra'. Okay, I knew who chose it. Leon. He was obsessed with the movie since we were little. 

"One slice for me." I took a slice of the pizza from Leon who just grumbled everytime someone reached out to take a slice. I couldn't help but put on an amused expression everytime Leon grumbled. It was like movie nights on Friday when we shared popcorns over at his house. He would always punish me by making me re-fill the popcorn once it's finished. 

"Hey, I smell Lavender." Cameron said when we were in the middle of the movie. He did recieved a 'shush!' from Leon and Isabel of course. 

"Yeah, it's the scent from my soap, idiot." I stucked out my tongue like I used to do when we were close friends. I saw a small smile but it quickly disappeared. The smile on my face slowly faded and I returned my attention to the movie. 

Why was I so bothered if Cameron didn't smile? It wasn't my business anyway. But I was still worried anyways. 

From the corners of my eyes, I saw Cameron looking at me and smiled a bit. Okay, maybe he did smile. But not when I was looking, which was odd. When we were young, he always smiled. A cheerful boy, my mom used to call him. Guess people do change.

"Celiana Millers?" the teacher called my name and I raised my hand. School trip, at last! We were in a bus and Isabel was sitting next to me. Since it was a school trip and not a class trip, there were at least five buses..or more. I didn't had to time to count since everyone was busy getting on the bus earlier on.

But one thing I was certain, Cameron and Tiana wanted to sit far away as they could. That did brought a smile on my face, of course. Tiana was in the same bus as me and Cameron. Which sucked. Cameron had to be on the same bus as Isabel so it would be easier for Brian to take care of them at the same time. 

Brian and Derek sat in front of Isabel and I. They were listening to music on their ipods so I didn't disturb them. Usually the twins I knew were always different from each other, but these two had almost everything in common except for hair. 

Cameron and Leon were sitting behind us and they won't stop kicking out seats which was pure annoying. Once in a while, Isabel would turn around and glare at them. But fifteen minutes after the bus started to move, I fell asleep. What can I say? I loved to sleep. 

Cameron's P.O.V.:

That girl really could sleep. 

Tiana who was sitting at the most front, would turn around and look at me at time to time. It was annoying of course. Why wouldn't it be? Just yesterday which was the day after I dumped her, she immediately hook up with my best friend, Jace. Nice move, blondie. 

Jace told me that Tiana liked him but I was really sure Tiana was trying to make me jealous and regret I ever dumped her. She won't get her revenge that easily of course since I didn't like her in the first place anyways.

"Cammy.." I could hear Celia whispered in her dream, followed by tiny cute snores. Was she dreaming about me? I slowly grin but then I quickly frowned. What was happening to me? Okay, focus Cameron. Would you really fall for a nerd? I shook my head. 

"Hey, what's up?" Leon looked at me with curious eyes. "You were shaking your head and suddenly space out again. What's up?" he lowered his voice. 

"Nothing's up. I'm just thinking about some..things." I shrugged, but he didn't seem to believe me. But anyways, he nodded and looked at other things. I couldn't tell him in case he liked Celia. Wait, tell him what? Oh, stop confusing your thoughts, Cameron!

Celia's P.O.V.:

"We'll take a stop for awhile. Everyone could take a walk but don't go too far." Mrs Evans said as she got off the bus. The rest of us followed and found ourselves near a forest. The forest was just next to the road so if a car got too near the edge, the car might tumble and fall into the forest. 

"Oh my gosh, a snake!" I heard Tiana screamed behind me. I was terrified of snakes! But I couldn't move or else I would fall off the edge! Panic flashed through my eyes. 

"Where?" I managed to squeak and turned around but there wasn't a single snake in sight. Just a typical Tiana laughing her fake Barbie laugh. I rolled my eyes and took my bottle out and drank from it. 

"Celia!" that was Isabel's shriek. Oh no, something was wrong when she shrieks like that. I turned around and there was a snake behind me and near to Isabel. She looked pale like she was about to faint but then I felt a push. 

"Oops! Sorry, nerd!" Tiana's voice filled my ears. Before I could scream or even fall, someone caught me by the arm. I looked up and Cameron was holding me by my arm with both his hands. Gosh, he was strong. 

I wouldn't have fallen but someone surprised Cameron by touching his arm and he tripped. 

"Noo!" I shouted. But Cameron fell and so did I since he was still grabbing onto my arm. When we stopped tumbling further into the forest, I could feel a warm liquid on my forehead. I bet I was bleeding. Cameron lay beside me unconscious. So much for guys being tougher girls. Maybe it was because I knew self-defense that kept me conscious.

"Wake up, Cameron!" I shook him but he just lay there not moving. 

"Anyone?!" I yelled my lungs out. No answer. We were too far from where they were anyways. Luckily, there was a waterfall nearby..wait. A WATERFALL. The rest of them were bound to reach the waterfall soon but how long did we had to wait? I was bleeding and Cameron was unconscious. I was losing balance due to losing alot of blood. 

Before I knew it, I was on the ground, weak and my vision blurring.
