no name From NOTES OF A GLOBAL TRAVELER By CJ Rosen-Sattler
Dead of winter, Silent snow, Old, gentle streets of cobblestone. Delicious crunch of boots on ice, Calm, city streets all paved in white.
Quiet morning, Day begins, As winter marks both start and end.
I walk, in calm, Through clinic doors, To do what I've not done before. One life to claim, One life to blame, Both lives that day would know the pain Of death in life And life in death. Outside the window Fresh snow falls And to the unborn soul I call, 'From whatever life you may have known, May compassion fill you as you go.'
Dead of winter, Silent snow, Old, gentle streets of cobblestone, I came as two but leave alone.
