Robbery of the Century
Everything was going as planned. At one a.m. we were going to rob Bill Gates. I know what you're thinking; it's stupid to even think about robbing Bill Gates' house, whatever, I'm a criminal mastermind and nothing will come out wrong because I have a worldwide known security system hacker by my side, this means I have to give one fourth of my loot to him because he did one fourth of the work bla bla bla... So basically stealing Bill Gates' house was our endeavor and I couldn't back out anymore. Like I said before, I'm a criminal mastermind so I made an inventory on all the valuables and priceless objects that we would find in Gates mansion. The estimated profit I was going to make was about fifty million dollars! Who would risk going to jail for that? Oh wait. Me! Yet again you must be thinking; where did I get all this information from? Of course, someone from "the inside" derived all this information. I may be stupid for trying to steal from his house, but I'm no moron. In exchange for all the services she's doing, (the info and turning the security camera's and electric wires off) she will be receiving one eighth of the loot. As you can see, I'm getting poorer by the minute. The hacker and I were waiting by the west wall, clad in a black suit. I had surmised that she would already have fulfilled her job, so the hacker and I started climbing up the wall. I was first and I didn't know what happened until I fell on the ground, feeling like I'd been tasered. The electric wire had not been shut down so I had been electrified! What if she didn't turn off the cameras and I was on video! Oh god, all the walls were tumbling around me! The hacker was tipped off by my abrasive fall so he gingerly went over the wire and gracefully came down through the other side. "Where do we go next?" he asked. I wiped the grimace off my face and pointed east. "That way," I said in a monotonous tone. I advised the hacker to put on his shades so that we could simulate the actions of the security guards without attracting attention. Don't act so surprised, I just did my homework, that's all! I entered the vestibule and made a cursory search easily finding a Da Vinci portrait hanging on the wall, the signature on the bottom right corner corroborated with the confirmation that it was Da Vinci's. I was dazzled by the beauty of the portrait and thought, Bill Gates is so stupid for leaving something so valuable under no protection. Unconsciously I took a step forward paying no attention to what the hacker was saying. WAAAAWAAAAWAAAA! Went the alarm, we started running for the door so we wouldn't get caught. "Where do you think you're going?" said what appeared to be the chief security guard, behind him we saw ten others and two of them were holding Patricia, the informant. We had nothing else to do but succumb to their demands because they outnumbered us. "You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law, you have a right to an attorney, if you cannot afford one, one will be provided for you." "Oh great, were going to spend I don't know how many years eating dehydrated food." I said as the security walked me out the door and I wondering if I would tell them the gruesome details of our plan.
