"Laeton." a hand waved in front of my face and I jumped and glared at the guy's who had smirk's.

"What?"

"You were day dreaming for the second time today, it's lunch."

"Oh!" I got up from my chair and grabbed my backpack and ran passed the guy's and down the hall, they followed after me and I got pulled back when one of them grabbed my backpack. "What the freak!" I hissed.

They laughed, "Slow down man, lunch just started."

I heard the bell and people started piling out of classes, I blinked. "Oh."

"Yeah, your losing it."

I rolled my eye's, "Well come on then, I'm hungry." I started walking into the crowd of student's, the guy's followed smirk's imprinted on their face's.

When we got to lunch my eye's scanned the area as I got into the lunch line. "She's over there." Derek hinted and my eye's snapped over to where he nodded and I felt myself going soft for this girl.

She sat alone with her ipod which made me frown.. She still looked cute though, she was like a cute little baby panda and I just wanted to protect her and make her happy.

I felt myself getting tingle's and butterfly's just thinking about being with her that I didn't realize that Derek was guiding me through the line, the guy's snickering behind him.

They even got my own tray and fixed it for me and placed it in my hand's before guiding me to our table.

"Come on dude! Snap out of it."

I snapped out of it and sighed, "Sorry." I put my tray down.

"Go talk to her and ask her if she want's to come sit with us, don't make a fool of yourself."

"Got it." I nodded and flicking my band's out of my eye's and licked my lips before heading toward's where she sat, and to tell you the truth, she was even more cute up close.

I sat down and her head lifted, she blushed a little and pulled her ear plug's out. "Hi." she smiled shyly.

"Hello, so your new here?"

She nodded, "I'm from Florida, my name's Jasmine."

I smiled, Jasmine... "I'm Laeton, if you want you can come join me and my friend's at our table."

"Sure." she smiled, grabbing her bag.

I stood up and shot her my best smile making her blush, I led her over to our table and my friend's were trying not to grin, Kyle failed terribly.

"Guy's this is Jasmine - Jasmine this is Kyle, Jason, Derek and Max."

"Hi." Jasmine say's shyly before we both sat down.

I rolled my eye's at Max who sent me a telepathic message.

Right, did I forgot to mention most of this town shift's into tiger's? Yeah, every one has shifted except me... Why? I was born smaller than other shifter's, which is pretty weird because now I'm really tall.

For the rest of lunch we ate and got to know Jasmine, she was getting less shy around us and talking much more, no longer blushing which upset me because she looked so cute when she blushed. And it made me smile widely when she asked if I was okay from earlier.

But I need to get her to know me first, find out if she's strait or not, so I shouldn't check her out when she's looking, I didn't wanna freak her out.

"What if she's like a hater against lesbian's? I mean there's so many thing's that could happen!! I'm panicing! I don't usually panic this bad! Help me!!!" I ranted and fell to my knee's as the guy's were sitting down looking at me with worry.

"Laeton, it's been one day, just give it some time, okay? You remember that girl i had a crush on in 8th grade?" Kyle asked.

"The spanish one?"

He nodded grinning, "She was shy so i gave her time before she fell in love with me, to bad she moved away, she was really good in be-"

I threw a pillow at him and glared, "I don't need to know about your straight sex man."

"Oh right." he pursed his lips.

"Wait! I thought you were going out with Shelly when she came to school?" Max asked.

"Hahaha.." Kyle laughed nervously.

"Oh dude! You didn't!!" they grinned and I smirked.

"Player." I stuck my tonuge out at him.

"Hey now, i didn't have a million crushes in 9th grade."

"Oh come on, you can't blame me!! They kept wearing skirt's!! Some didn't even wear bra's! And trust me I was turned on being in the locker room with them all.." I groaned. "Best day of my fucking life."

They chuckled, "Lucky asshole."

I smirked and put my hand's up, "Not my fault I was born a girl, the teacher's just had to make me stick with the girl's, which I was okay with of course, their'd be to many guy's checking me out if I went with you guy's.." I made a face and shuddered. "Not what I want."
