This may just be my favourite chapter so far... I don't know what it was, but it just seemed to flow so easily when I wrote it. And it is the chapter from COLE'S POINT OF VIEW. Enjoy ;P
__________________________________________________ COLE Stalker Immortal - chapter eleven "I love you too." Those simple words proved hard for me to believe, but her tone was so sincere and I had been waiting along time to hear them. I closed my eyes and concentrated on the possibility that she might be speaking the truth. For so long I watched her, for weeks I felt jealousy arise over Damien and tonight had proven the worst of it, but when she pulled away from him, the jealousy diminished, replaced with relief and satisfaction. And that was all I needed to know. If she loved me as she claimed, then rejecting Damien was all the proof I needed. When I opened my eyes to welcome and give back her love, I stared, shocked. She was shirtless, her torso merely covered in a red bra. She began to unzip her jeans and I could stop the small smile that appeared on my face as she struggled to get them off, they were drenched, which meant they were probably heavy and clinging to her. She looked so innocent and I didn't want to ruin that. "You don't have to," I said trailing off. I couldn't help but stare and watch as she wiggled and pulled at the fabric. "I'm not doing it because I think I have to. Maybe I'm doing because I want to." She sounded so confident when she spoke now. She finally managed to rid her self of heavy denim and let the jeans crumple to the floor on top of her wrinkled shirt. She remained where she was, a few feet from me, wearing only red undergarments that matched. Who wore matching underwear? Well, except people who knew they were going to get some. But Charlotte had no idea I even wanted to talk to her. I knew the culprit though, Fay. I was going to have to have a chat to that girl one day. "What, are you just going to leave me standing here?" she asked wounded at the fact I hadn't responded. After all the time apart, I was reluctant to accept her gesture, but she meant so much to me. I hated the time we spent away from each other. I didn't sleep well at all. All I could think about was if she was okay, and what she thought of that Damien kid. It tortured me to think that she might actually move on from me. Now I knew she hadn't, and didn't want to either. "No," I whispered, taking the few steps forward to close the distance between us. I cupped her face in my hands, "How could I leave you standing there?" I wiped away the wetness under her blue, enchanting eyes as they poured into mine. She had removed the protection that covered all her emotions. In the presence of any one possessing magical powers, it would be a bad idea. But in front of me, it was a sign that she truly did care. I did the same, revealing the pure navy colour that surrounded her iris. It would show her how happy and in love I felt at this very moment. I'd never shown my true emotions to anyone but her, so hopefully she will know and share the passion I was feeling. She was still looking me straight in the eyes so I decided to make the first move. Slowly, I departed my gaze from her and to my hands that decided to descend her body leisurely. I didn't look back up to make sure this was okay; I could feel that she didn't mind the slightest bit. I dawdled even more as my hands lightly brushed over her lace-covered breasts. Her sharp intake of breathe forced me to look at her; if she wanted me to stop, I would. She told me what I was doing was okay with her by giving me a cute smile. Once again I looked down at her body where my hands were trailing down her side. They came to rest on her hips, and I gave a light squeeze before pulling her closer to me. She wrapped her arms securely around my neck at the same time I wrapped mine around her waist, molding her to my chest. She buried her face in my neck and her voice was nearly inaudible when she spoke. "I missed you so much." The words cracked in her shaky voice, but to here those words sent a soaring fire through my chest. "I missed you to," I murmured, placing a kiss just under her ear. A siren sounded once just out side the house. She jumped away in freight. "Looks like the party poopers have arrived." I laughed nervously. She was still close, but we weren't touching anymore and I finally recognised the sounds of my surroundings. The rain was falling heavily and the only light in the room was coming from a lamp on the end table. The room had the right atmosphere, that was for sure, but I hadn't meant it to be like that. I only turned that particular light on because it was on table I pulled Charlotte's locket from.
