I walk through the crowded hallways, the sticky notes in my pocket. I wait until the bell rings and halls clear. The bathroom mirrors, some of the lockers: just a happy little message for whoever cares to listen.
“You’re late,” my teacher says disapprovingly as I sit down. I give him a smile.
“Sorry, there was a line in the bathroom.”
And that’s how it began...
Operation Beautiful
When Corey DuPont finds a post-it telling him to smile because he's beautiful, he doesn't think of it as much more than a harmless joke.
