Amidst this dark deceiving world
Where friends are few like precious gold
The hands that care, I can't behold
The wounded heart remain uncured

Not even wealth that all men seek
Can satisfy my deepest need
All I can feel is loneliness
Please lead me to my Savior's feet

Awake my soul from apathy
I long for joyful melody
Shine on my star so I can see
The way to set my spirit free

Be not afraid to stay with me
Let's stand to make the darkness flee
If God's with us the world will see
We'll win the race with harmony

Erase! I beg the past scars
Enlighten me as wise men's star
Stay with me not from afar
Inspired me for the holy war

Let not the cloud of doubt conquer
The love that grows from love so dear
Our covenant is loud and clear
It will remain through out the years

Love is the bond that makes us one
God is the strength that makes us stand
When storms of life and struggles comes
We'll still be safe in Savior's hands
