Author's Note: The chapter is sort of boring. Nevertheless, enjoy.
The Devil Wears Playboy Boxers [15] I searched the house frantically for Amy's blond hair. Bumping into dancers and confusing her for other females. While I sought after her I tried to get my thoughts in check. My mind was whirling with questions and assumptions I had made from the conversation I had with Hilary. The windows, the walls, the floors, the friggin' doors were her friends. I had a time limit, yet a staller, and three days to find the two dolls. Then there was a question lurking about, and I struggled to remember what it was. Like sudden spark of fire, my mind remembered. The girl Forrest lost his virginity to! In health class Forrest acted particularly odd when the subject came about, being defensive about everyone knowing-or remembering-who he had sex with. I found it bothersome, mostly because I would expect Forrest to boast about such a thing, not be modest about it. I spotted a girl whom I guessed to be Amy, so I ambled toward her quickly. On my way I accidentally bumped into a persona, dumping their alcoholic drink on their shirt. "I am so sorry!" I apologized, staring at the ugly stain residing on the shirt. I glanced up and sighed thankfully when I saw it to be Kevin. Surely he wouldn't get mad at me. "Spencer! I haven't seen you in a while. How are things going with you and Forrest? Have you made any progress compared to the relationship you had with him before? I bet he isn't as mean as he used to be..." Kevin smiled kindly, letting me catch a glimpse of his cute dimples. I gave him a grin of my own, my mood grasping a happier tone. Amazing how just a simple smile could better the day. I was about to update him on everything that has been going on, but then I recall I had never included Kevin in my revenge plan, only Amy and I knew (as far as I was informed). All Kevin knew was I had makeover, thinking it was in hopes of getting Forrest. However my plans had altered, and now the makeover served for a completely different purpose. I would have loved to tell Kevin everything. After all, he was a trustworthy person. Nevertheless, after Hilary's "warning"-or whatever the hell it was, because honestly my mind was still spinning at her perplexing way of speaking-I was a bit paranoid. Hilary's attitude threw me off as well. Seriously, who acts like a maniac telling me objects talk (except the walls of course, because apparently they're mute!), and then acts as if we never had a conversation to begin with? Hilary obviously... "There has definitely improvement." I began proudly, realizing a second after that it was actually true, there has been change. Forrest doesn't tease me about my looks as much as he used to, if anything he flirts instead. "I think we might be on a road to a serious relationship." I almost winced at the last part. Forrest and I weren't nearly close to a being a couple, I'd think it was obvious by how he has a million girls above his manhood at this moment. "That's great to hear. You know, I'm really glad we went on with our whole 'makeover' plan. I think Amy is starting to really like me. Last night she called me and we talked for a nice bit." Kevin's eyes shined with felicity. "Aww! I'll admit I didn't have much faith in it, but things are starting to pay off. You're going to have Amy, and pretty soon I'll have Forrest. Well, as much as I'd love to stay and speak with you longer, I have to go do some things. See you around!" I waved at him before returning to my search of Amy. As if on cue, my hazel eyes met brown, and I almost jumped when I saw her. Amy was found at last. I rushed to her and pulled at her arm, and it didn't take a scientist to know she was a bit drunk. "Amy I have something extremely important to tell you." I said, rushed. "Sure," she replied lazily, "what's up?" My eyes checked around me to make sure no one was overhearing, yet after seeing everyone too busy either grinding to the partner behind them, or making out with random students, I was still wary. "Not here. Somewhere else..." I propounded. Amy rolled her eyes, annoyed. She had obviously been having fun and I was interfering with her free time. I dismiss her vexed impression, assured that she would thank me later when I told her about what I recently experienced. "Yeah, whatever. Just make it quick; there's gonna be a spin-the-bottle game coming up and I don't wanna miss it." She drawled, a few of her words coming out sloppy.
