I hang your faded jewelry
A soft and unappreciated glow
Takes hold of me and the
Cracks beneath the bend
Of all the ruined pearls
Start to chip, descending as they dry
And in between the silver
Where you hid our loved inscribed
Is the stain of his deep kiss
Scarred where fangs and lips
Took to rooms and fantasies
Where far off dreams and distant seas
Forget ordinary things
Like me
It's like a whisper
Set deep upon the sky
You cannot touch
But you hear it all the time
I am healing
These wounds will break and then they bend
Colliding with the stars
Until they mend
It's a tidal wave
It's a crashing plane
It's a new disdain
For you
