"Are you excited Sakura-chan, you're finally going to get married!" Ino yelled, hugging the pink haired kunoichi. "I just can't believe you're going to marry the Hyuuga Neji, one of the most eligible bachelors alive!"
"Thanks Ino-chan. I wasn't expecting it either but here I am in a white kimono and everything." Sakura said with a brilliant smile.
"Congratulation Sakura-chan." Hinata said with a true smile. Sakura giggled, placing a hand around her shoulder.
"Can you believe it Hinata-chan; we're going to be related after the ceremony!" Tenten smiled at Sakura's enthusiasm. It was nice to see Sakura's smile after that bastard traitor destroyed her heart.
Whatever evil organization around had been laying low for quite some time. During the time of peace, love had sprung all over Konoha. Naruto and Hinata were engaged and there were rumors that Lee was going to propose to Tenten. There seemed to be a weird relationship thing going between Temari, Shikamaru, and Ino. Now finally, there was Neji and Sakura.
No one had expected this. They never talked; they never hung out with each other, hell they never acknowledge each other when they're in the same room. You could guess how surprised everyone was when they exclaimed they were engaged. Apparently they started going out after Sakura had treated Neji's wounds when he returned from a mission.
They met accidentally once more in the training field and decided to train with each other once a month. Those months became to weeks and those weeks became to days. Apparently Neji couldn't keep himself away from her anymore. He had wanted to be composed and keep those silly rumors down when he finally realized he wanted her.
Hyuuga Neji cracked a true smile when she exclaimed yes.
"Hey ladies, are you decent in there?" Naruto asked while opening the door. Ino threw a curling iron at him. "Hey!" he yelped. "What was that for?"
"Stupid, you're supposed to ask without opening the door and come in after we answer!" she roared.
"I'm sorry Ino-chan. Naruto-kun, please come with me." Hinata said with a 'kind' smile. The girl's gulped. Over the years, they discovered that when Hinata was angered she always gave an innocent smile.
"I-I'm sorry Hinata-chan! No, don't take my ramen! I pro-promise, I won't do anything bad anymore!" Naruto whined.
"Oh yeah, you can tell who wears the pants in that relationship." Tenten said shaking her head.
"Yeah, at first glance it wouldn't seem like it but Hinata-chan sure can be scary." Sakura said with a sweat drop.
"I know, well Sakura-chan I need to find Shika-kun. Who knows what that bitch Temari will do if I leave him alone with her." She growled. The remaining two girls sweat dropped when Ino broke the glass vase nearby. She left in a storm of rage, slamming the door hard behind her.
"So Ten-chan," Sakura started slyly making the older girl gulp, "when do you think Lee-san will propose to you?"
"Isn't it such a nice weather Sakura-chan? Yes, a great weather. You and Neji sure know when to have a wedding. I bet this is the best weather all year. Yes, terrific weather. The sky is blue, not a stormy cloud in site, and-."
"You're blabbing like a love-sick girl." Sakura ended. "Chill Ten-chan, Lee-san will propose to you soon, just remember to say yes."
"Sorry Saku-chan, it's just... what if he doesn't want me? Gaaahhh, what if he leaves me for that Tomoko-bitch?! I'll kill her!" she yelled taking out a kunai out of her purple cheongsam dress.
"Ehehe, now that's the Ten-chan I know and love. Calm down, Lee-san will definitely ask you. I'm confident in that." She calmed down considerably at Sakura's words and gave her a hopeful look.
"You think?"
"I'm positive."
"Sorry, it's just that people keep saying he'll do it real soon but each day passes and I don't see any ring on my finger." She grumbled. Before Sakura could speak, there was a gentle knock on the door.
"Sakura?" the rosette haired perked up at the familiar voice. Tenten couldn't help but giggle when Sakura's face turned red and she looked at the mirror, trying to see if she looked okay. Tenten gave her a thumbs up before going to the door.
"She's decent." With a wink, she slinked away to find Lee.
Sakura looked at the floor, unable to pick up her gaze so that she faced the man she would soon be living the rest of her life with. She heard his footsteps; it was so light, as he was trained to being Anbu Captain and all. Her breath was caught in her throat when he hooked his fingers under her chin, lifting her face upward.
