I can't help myself, I don't want anyone else {4}
Matt's PoV I was looking for Millie, searching the car park, the crowds and I even went down to the pits. She was nowhere. Maybe she wasn't here. Maybe Mr. Peterson found out that Sean Houston drove her home last night and wasn't allowed to come today because he would be here. Oh, that would be good for me. I know Mr. Peterson likes me and he would let Millie date anyone if he knew about Sean, just so she wasn't near him. "Matty," a voice came from a distance. I spun around to find Millie charging at me. I caught her in my arms and held on tight. "How are things?" I murmured into her neck, breathing in her vanilla scent, as we stood there. She didn't look like she was still hung up on John. "Gotten over that selfish prick yet?" "Well," she said pulling out of my arms. "It's not something someone can just get over. But yeah, things are better than they were. Got to move on right?" "Right," I laughed, brushing blonde hair behind her ear and out of her face. I was hoping it wouldn't take to long. I had to get in quick if I wanted her, all the guys liked her, and she was just that pretty. "Did you get home okay last night?" I asked hesitantly, again hoping she wouldn't bite my head off. "Yeah, I did," she told me happily. That's not a good sign. "What about you, did your parents go off their heads?" "Yeah, I got grounded. No parties or dates for a month," I said shaking my head. "Plus I have to finish cleaning everything up, and the house from top to bottom. I got a whole of three hours sleep last night. That's why I was late this morning and missed the first heat." We walked back to her family, to congratulate Luke on coming second. He didn't seem very happy about it though. "Complete fuck up man," he said in disappointment. "I would have had it if I took the outside on the final turn. But it's cool, there's always the next race right. Did you see Houston's finish? Almost came off, after he landed, fuckin' idiot," Luke added with a satisfied laugh. "Has anyone seen Becky?" Millie asked out of nowhere. I didn't even realise Becky had come. After last night, I'd be surprised if she could even walk straight. When both Luke and I shook our heads she said, "I need to go find her," and began to walk away. "Want me to come with?" I asked as casually as possible. "No it's okay," Millie, told me flipping her blonde ponytail behind her shoulder. "I think I know where she might be." As she pranced away, I couldn't help but follow her ass, until Luke began speaking again. Millie's PoV I knew exactly where Becky would be lurking; near Tim, but that meant Sean to. It couldn't be that bad, he'd probably find some way to tease me. However, I had my own ammo this time. That was one fucked up landing at the finish line. It was funny to. Just as I had suspected, I found Becky lingering with Tim as he undressed and removed all of his protection, leaving himself in only riding pants and a singlet. A pretty good sight in my opinion. I was almost there when I heard a familiar voice yelling. "Dad, for the last fucking time," Sean yelled. "I won, I just landed wrong. No distraction what so ever." "Watch what your doing next time," Mr. Houston's tone was just as menacing as Sean's was. "Keep your eye on the prize, not the girls on the sideline." There was nothing else said and I began to walk away when a body slammed into mine, almost knocking me over. Sean caught me before I could hit the ground and I found myself gazing into his eyes with shock. "What are you doing here?" he asked, confusion spread all over his face. It took me a while to gather my thoughts, especially when his arm was still securely around my waist. We were out of sight, behind his truck, so being seen wasn't a problem, but my stuttering was. "I-I w-was just looking for Becky," I said to quickly and blushed at my stutter. He gave me a small, crooked smile. "You can put me down now," I told him pointing to the floor. "Oh right, sorry," he apologized and set me to the ground, proceeding to cross his arms over his chest. "So, you watched the race then," he continued, making small talk. "Yep," I said loudly before leaning in and whispering, "Not to mention your little mishap at the end." He looked surprised at my tone and I realised it was somewhat seductive. Something that was not meant to happen. "Anyway," I said leaning back and making my tone as normal as possible, not that it was working. "I have to find Becky. I'll see you later."
