dear converse,
you were the best birthday gift, brand new, shiny and with that new rubber smell lingering around you. from the moment i put you on i knew we would be the very best of friends. now its been a good eight or nine years and your wwhite parts have been stained green in some places brown in others. your rubber is rubbing off, your laces are frayed and stained, there are holea in uou that show my feet, your liner is coming out...the list of your injuries are quite long. i will always love you though. you will always be my lucky converse. the comfy reliable perfect shoes..and i love you <3
