Hailey's POV
Well today is the day that we're going to find out the sex of the baby, i want it to be a girl because i want a new car, i mean, who wouldn't?
"Aria, you ready to go?"
I nodded and literally ran out to the car, Jairo refuses to let me drive though because of the baby, he's really set on doing everything right, i've never seen him so happy before, he doesn't stop smiling. I'm still recovering from the shock of having a baby and getting engaged, everything just happened so fast but i wouldn't change anything.
"Aria, we're here"
I snapped out of my trance and looked out the window to see that we were outside the clinic, Jairo already booked an appointment, i just love him so much and to think this all started off with a pretend relationship.
He walked over to the passenger side and opened the door for me, he's been doing that alot lately,
"Thanks J"
He smiled at me and wrapped him arm around my waist, he locked the car doors and we walked into the clinic.
"Do you wanna sit down Aria?"
"I'm fine J, stop stressing"
He laughed "I'm just worried"
"About what?"
"You and the baby, i have no idea how to do this, i'm excited but scared at the same time, i just wanna be the best father i can be"
I stared at him in fascination, i never expected him to say that, i expected him to say something like that but that was just so sweet,
"J" I leant into his chest and he wrapped his arms around me "I know you'll be a great father, if anything you'll probably spoil the baby so much"
He laughed "Of course i will, this is my first child, he'll be getting everything"
"Or she'll be getting everything"
"Miss Strifeman"
He smiled "I'll guess we'll be finding out now"
I took his hand and we followed the doctor into a room, just looking at all the equipment got me scared but i felt Jairo squeeze my hand reassuringly and i relaxed, well kind of relaxed, i was still a bit nervous and excited to find out what the sex of the baby is,
"Hello Miss Strifeman, are ready to find out how your baby is doing?" I nodded "Okay, well lay down here for me and just relax"
I moved over to where he pointed and lay down, i steadied my breathing and was relaxed, that was until he put the clear gel on my stomach and it was so fucking cold,
"Could've warned me first doc"
He laughed "Sorry"
After a few seconds, he got my attention back "Well, there's your baby and it is perfectly healthy"
I turned to face the monitor and there it was, my baby, i couldn't stop smiling, i looked over at Jairo to see he had a few tears in his eyes, he's been emotional lately aswell, i moved his hair from his eyes and he looked up at me and smiled,
"We're really having a baby"
I nodded "We really are"
I looked back at the monitor and just stared at it with awe,
"So, would you like to find out the sex of the baby?"
Me and Jairo looked at eachother before nodding, the moment of truth, could it get any more intense?
"Okay, well you may be glad to know that it is a... Boy"
Jairo jumped up "I knew it!"
I laughed "Calm yourself there J"
He smiled at me "We're gonna have a son, i can't believe it!"
He came to me and kissed me unexpectedly, it took me a while to relax into it but i eventually did, but then i pulled away because i realised the doctor was still in the room, i leaned up to his ear,
"The doctors still here J, we'll continue later"
I winked at him and he pulled away and sat back down on the chair,
"Okay let's get this cleaned up and your free to leave, would you like a picture?"
"Yes, definitaley!"
I laughed at Jairo, he must be so happy right now,
"Can we have 2?"
The doctor nodded "Of course"
He wiped off the gel and left the room, i looked at Jairo and he was just smiling,
"J?"
"Yes baby?"
"Your really happy aren't you?"
He nodded "I'm really really happy, I just found out that we're going to have a son, can i choose the name?"
I smiled "Of course J, what do you have in mind?"
"I've been thinking for a while and i want to call him Gabriel Trent Arymiyoni"
I thought about it for a while "I like it"
He jumped up to hug me and then the doctor came back into the room,
"Here are pictures, do you have a name for him?"
I nodded "Gabriel"
"Very nice... If you ever need another appointment, just call and book one"
"I will, thanks doc"
I grabbed Jairo's hand and we left the clinic with smiles planted on our faces. I know for a fact that Jairo is going to spoil Gabriel every chance he gets, i don't doubt that one bit. I felt Jairo put his hand over my stomach and he leaned down,
"Hey Gabriel, i'm your Daddy, i can't wait to meet you little guy and i'll love you just as much as i love your mummy, maybe even more"
I hit him playfully across the head and he leaned back up to kiss me,
"I love you Aria"
"I love you too J"
"By the way" He leaned close to my ear "You owe me Linkin Park tickets"
He laughed and ran off to the car, i ran after him laughing aswell and we drove home happy. I have the sweetest fiancé and now we have little Gabriel on the way.
