Hey guys I started a new story! I really am excited about this one. So comment and vote! let me know what you think my lovely wattpadders! <3 <3 <3
p.s. don't ask me to read any stories, because that is the whole purpose of why I don't advertise my own stories. It is extremely rude and disrespectful to other people and their stories!!
Taming my Alpha Mate, Mr.Dangerous
“Evaline! Karen is waiting for you downstairs!” My mother’s voice rang from the intercom in my room. I sprang out of my purple queen-sized. Dammit! I overslept, again. That’s one of my many flaws to be late to anything and anywhere. I jumped across my slightly larger than average room to my walk-in closet. I threw on a light blue v-neck tee shirt and wore ripped jean shorts. My light-toned fingers quickly raked through my long dirty blonde hair. I french-braided the hair on the sides of my head as I descended down the grand staircase. I looked down to see my eighteen year old best friend of 10 years, Karen, standing by my mother near the door with matching faces of disapproval. My mother’s expression was less vicious than Karen’s, she was gonna kill me!
“I’m ready! Let’s go” I said in a huff.
“Late. As always” Karen said exasperated with a terrifying glare.
“She will never learn” My mother shook her head. “Anyways, have fun my lovely darlings. Be safe and watch your diet Evaline. Grandmother Ebony is coming back from Paris shortly and you know how she wants her grandchildren to be, perfect.”
I rolled my eyes. Grandmother Ebony is my mother’s mother who is all about lady-like manners and being a presentable woman for young, wealthy, and classy men with a high reputation. My family has money. Lots. I hate it. All of grandmother Ebony’s elder grandchildren are either well-known lawyers or doctors including my siblings and cousins. I have 3 brothers and sisters. The oldest, my sister Natasha, is a big-time lawyer for some of New York’s prestigious businesses. The second oldest is my brother William, he refused to follow in the footsteps of my sister and parents, therefore was kicked out of our house at eighteen. I missed him so much, he was the only one in my family that would understand me. All our memories is the only thing I have left of him. Its' been two years since the last time I talked to him. I’m the third child. Last but definitely not least, is my baby brother Maxwell. I am the only one who calls him Max for short. My grandparents disapprove and believe that every person should be addressed by their full first name. I never understood Grandmother Ebony’s way of life but I did my best to bite my tongue when I didn’t like her teachings.
“Alright mom bye” I grabbed Karen’s wrist and pulled her with me out the door. “So what’s the plan for today!” I asked all excited.
“Well we could go to the mall for some new outfits for school. The first day of school is in three days and I still don’t know what to wear” Karen said gruffly.
“The mall it is” I smiled with content.
A few dreadful hours later, I collapsed with shopping bags onto Karen's green and pink girly bed. Her room was a little smaller than mine with a regular closet instead of a walk-in one. She has regular bedcovers instead of 100% egyptian silk bedsheets. She was perfectly normal and simple. I Evaline Beaufort, am jealous of my own best friend. Personally, I would choose Karen’s lifestyle over mine any day. Her family wasn’t perfect, but they were very much close to it.
"You're such a baby" Karen laughed
"Shutup I don't know how you can manage holding all those bags" I huffed.
Karen simply shrugged. We heard a knock on Karen’s door. “Come in” Karen called.
“Hey girls how did the shopping spree go?” Karen’s mom waltzed in eyeing the shopping bags sprawled all across the pink fuzzy rug on Karen’s bedroom floor. Her mother was a beautiful brazilian model in her earlier years with a huge heart and amazing qualities. She cooks home made meals, rather than asking the family cook to whip something up. She cleans the house, rather than having a maid do it for her. The best of all, she actually is someone you can talk to without any judgements or worries about “not being the perfect daughter of a prestigious family”. Yeah she's basically the opposite of what I'm used to. I was very jealous.
