"Fear is not real. It's a product of thoughts you create. Do not misunderstand me. Danger is very real. But fear is a choice."

~Chapter Two~

Wind held my hand tightly, squeezing the life out of it. His hand felt soft against mine, and yet, so cold. Sudden, intense, piercing pain rose in my chest, as a guttural cry of pain slipped from my lips, echoing throughout my room.

My eyes widen as, the world seemed in hyper drive. Every sound was being magnified to countless numbers. My body was frozen though I desperately tried to move, but I was petrified. I couldn't breathe normally, as an intensified freezing shiver went through my body. Drops of sweat started to form on my forehead.

My vision started to cloud, but somehow I was awake. There were colored shapes flashed above my face as, Wind stared at me with cold-blooded eyes, not a flinch of guilt passes those cold blue eyes at the pain he caused. I almost saw a twisted pleasure radiating off his skin. The pain was making me gasp, and stagger for breaths that I couldn't catch. I tried to stumble backwards from his iron grip, but it was useless. I felt as if a million tiny bugs, and burning irons are scalding my hand, pulsating across my body in waves of agony. Crimson blood started to flood to my lungs.

"Such a brat!" He snapped.

"Couldn't you bear a little pain?" The pain got worse, and another scream made its way out of my mouth.

"Scream more!" He roared, raising his left hand, throwing it forward, as hard as he could, whipping it across my face. The crack of skin contacting skin echoed off the walls. Vibrations of new pain started in my face, and speared all the way into my nervous system. I could tell that my cheek became bright red. I stared at him with my eyes wide open, as my now free hand slowly made it to my red cheek.

"Please, stop!" I sobbed, as more tears raced down my cheeks.

"Stop? Girl, you made me laugh," He pretended to wipe some fake tears from his eyes.

"You think I will stop? Ha, no way." His eyes were emotionless like they lost the sparkle of life. All I could see was agony. Pain moved straight across my wrist. As, black dots started to form, then I blacked out.

My head was pounding, as I tried to open my eyelids. They were with heavy with sleep. My Whole body felt groggy, and extremely exhausted like I have been working-out like a mad girl. My lips felt dry, as I licked them. I groaned in pain, as I tried to sit up 'Just wait a minute!' How I ended up in my bed?

I could feel a sting on my wrist, and when I glanced at it. I found a strange black inked tattoo. It was blooming, delicate rose with a chain around it.

I looked around in search of Sam, but she wasn't here; like she just disappeared in the thin air. I just couldn't get the last sight of her out of my mind. It was really unpleasant. She laid there pale, and move-less almost like a dead corpse. At least not seeing a sight of a dead body means that she was okay. But, why she got up, and left without saying anything, or even waking me up?

I looked over the clock, hanging on the wall it read: 7:40 pm. My parents were back for sure. I gained my balance, heading towards the door when my phone started to ring.

"Finally, you picked up the phone!" Her high pitched voice bloomed inside of my poor eardrums.

"What?" My eyebrows furrowed.

"I called you almost five times,"

"Hmm?"

"Weren't we supposed to go out at 5pm? Why didn't you come?" She mumbled almost, as she was in deep thought. 'Didn't she remember what happened a few Hours ago? The spell, or that crazy dude?'
