Love Leaves Its Mark

THIS HAS NOT BEEN EDITED

Okay, before you start yelling at me... I'm reaally SORRY!! I have been battling writer's block, procrastination, and the first few weeks of my first year in high school. I will try my hardest to do a better job with this story.

I know this is a really short chapter, but I just wanted to post SOMETHING. So this is what I came up with. I promise that the next upload won't take a month and a half.

You know that time in your life when you wish life had a mute button. Well, this is that time. Hunter has been banging on my door, yelling at me to wake up for the last half hour. Let's just say, it's not the most pleasant thing in the world.

"What is your problem? I woke up like twenty minutes ago, Butt-face!"

"Hey, now- no need for name calling. I just wanted to be sure you were awake. Sorry."

"Oh, sure you are." Sometimes I wonder what it'd be like if I had a sister instead of an older brother. Then, again, I couldn't handle some froo- froo, frilly sister. I'm not willing to take that chance. Girls are just... it's hard to come by girls that I don't hate. Maybe if I was an only child...

"Whatever, don't believe me. Mom wants you ready and downstairs in half an hour."

"Why?" Did I do something wrong? Well, of course I did. I always do, but that's who I am and my parents have gotten used to it... for the most part. So what does she need? Maybe she... no. Or... no. I have no idea.

"I'll  let mom tell you. See ya downstairs." What? My brother is so weird.

Now that I'm up and ready, I guess I have to find out what's going on. "Hey Mom. Hunter said that you wanted to tell me something?"

"Oh yeah, it's nothing big. I just invited the Bennett's to come over for dinner tonight. We have to catch up and there's some things we need to talk about."

"Catch up?! Things to talk about?! Mom! I can't believe you invited them here... Invited Ryder here."

"Aww, come on honey. It won't be that bad. Ryder's not a little kid anymore."

"I realize that. I bet he just got worse over time. You know, like bananas. He's just like a soggy, overripe, bad banana."

And now my mother is laughing at me. Wonderful, I don't think she realizes what she's doing..

Between fits of laughter she manages to get out, "I'm sorry. Just go to the store and buy some stuff for dinner tonight." I think she realized I was about to protest because the next thing she says is, " Don't even try and say no. You're going to the story and you're going to be pleasant tonight at dinner. Now go!"

Finally, grumbling, I leave. I have a feeling that this is the best part of my day.

Okay leave me a comment and tell me what you think. If you'r going to yell at me, which I hope you don't) now would be the time to do it. I know I've been a horrible person :(
