Never Forget

Hey I dedicated this chapter to philbo for making me an amazing book cover.

Chapter One

  "Oh my god! Have you seen what Lucy has done with her hair, she cut it all off, it looks horrible. What was she thinking?" Alice said whilst looking in the mirror to see if any of her make-up had smudged.

  Alice can be quite harsh but she did have a point Lucy looked a lot better with her long honey-brown hair, it suited her face perfectly. Apparently her hair wasn't supposed to be cut that short but something went wrong and she had to have it all cut off. She had it in a boy cut now, that was longer at the right side and went into a sort of side fringe. 

  "Alice, it doesn't look that bad the poor girl had to do it. I feel really sorry for her. Her hair was lovely." I said.

  Alice is the gossip at our school; anything gets said to her you can bet that it would be round the school by the end of the day, she doesn't have limits. When Stacy one of our former best friends got pregnant she told Alice and the next day she came to school, the news was all over the school.

 "Really Kaci, she probably just said that so everyone feels sorry for. Kaci you’re too nice, if you want to stay top dog you've got to say what you really think about people, don't sugar coat things." Alice said whilst pouting in front of the bathroom mirror, making sure her lipstick was still. I rolled my eyes and frowned. Alice really got on my nerves sometimes.

 "Well Alice if you think that's how you get to the top, then why you aren’t the Queen Bee yet."

 "Wow, so the kitten can fight back. What a surprise." Alice stated making her eyes go wide in fake fear.

 "Oh shut up Alice, not everyone has to be a bitch like you." Agnes said catching onto the conversation. Agnes was one of my best friends, it's like we've been friends for years.

  Agnes was the typical beauty at our school with blonde hair and blue eye girl. She was quite tall for her age she was around 5'8 with a slim frame. Agnes is top in all her classes and has an answer for everything.

 "Who said you could just butt into this conversation Agnes, why don't you just go to the library and stick your head into a book like usual." 

 "Well Alice at least she isn't failing just about every class she takes."

  Half the time I don't know why we keep Alice as our friend. She can be sweet sometimes; she is also very beautiful with long midnight black hair that was always stick straight unless she curled it and hazel eyes. 

 "I would rather fail than be a geek." Alice huffed as she stomped out of the bathroom with a scowl.

 "Please remind me why we're friends with her." Agnes questioned.

 "Well she can be sweet sometimes and you know she was one of the first people to be nice to me when I got here. I would feel guilty to just drop her after how nice she was to me." 

"Like she wouldn't do the same thing to you. She's even done it before with other friends, she has no guilt." 

 "Agnes I know what you mean but at my old school at one point everyone just dropped me so I know how it feels and it doesn't feel good at all." I had told parts of my story back home to Agnes but not all of it, some things is just better left untold. "Anyway, where's Autumn? I thought you guys were joined at the hip." 

 Autumn was the complete opposite of Agnes; she has red hair with muddy brown eyes and was only 5ft. She is very ditsy and is almost at the bottom of all her classes, except fashion design. Nobody could hate Autumn her bubbly personality made up the fact that she wasn't that smart. 

 "She's with Adam; I swear she's got a new boy every week."  Just as Agnes finished talking, the bell overhead rang signalling that we had 5 minutes until next class. 

 "Come on, I can't be late again this week." I said, grabbing Agnes' hand.

 "Okay, I'm coming you don't have to drag me and I'm not in your class anyway." Agnes said whilst laughing at me dragging her down the hall.
