Chapter Seventeen: Long Lost Friend

A/N: Time flies so fast na almost two weeks akong walang update dito. Huhu. ~T_T~ mianhe Crazers. Right after I finish my other story, nandito na lahat ng focus ko! (*¯︶¯*)

Chapter Seventeen: Long lost friend

I already told Ivy na aalis ako ng office by ten. I have to meet Dylan dun sa coffee shop to meet his long lost friend and of course to introduce my mallows to him.

Huh! that endearment, I just can't help myself to blush kapag nababanggit ko ang mallows na yan. Kasi naman ang lips niya is as kissable and soft as mallows. Haha.

Hindi pa kami nagkikita since I got here to my office. Probably he's there at his office and sinabihan ko na rin siya sa mangyayari ngayon at pupunta daw siya right after his meeting.

Yah right. Business first before me. I mean work comes first before girlfriend. Nakakalungkot lang isipin na uunahin niya yun but I have to understand him lalo na ngayon na i'm also into business and same career with his.

My phone buzzes, nasa coffee shop na daw si Dylan.

"Hey," bati sa kanya pagkapasok ko.

"Hi Paris," nagulat siya nung nakitang mag-isa lang ako.

May three vacant chairs sa table namin. Umupo na ko dun sa isa kaya dalawa na lang yung natira. I sat opposite to Dylan.

"Any drink that I can get for you?, food to eat?"

"um, cafe americano and croissant. Thanks Dylan"

"Missing france huh, no prob Paris," I smiled at him then nag-order na siya.

He placed our orders and we started to eat.

"Okay lang ba sa kanya na nauna na tayo kumain?" Referring to his friend. Nevermind Nicolai, bahala siya.

"Yeah, he's probably here in ten minutes, natraffic lang siguro" he take a sip on his coffee.

"Gano katagal na kayong hindi nagkita?" I asked out of nowhere to distract myself. Hindi niya kase ko nirereplyan. Nakakahiya naman kay Dylan kung hindi siya makakapunta ngayon.

"Since we were in the third grade, nagmigrate na kasi kami nun sa Europe"

"No communication at all?" Croissant tastes heavenly good. I might buy another one. Forget about the diet.

"Cards kapag may occasion, it took months kasi bago makarating yung air mail kaya yun hanggang sa wala ng communication"

"Oh I see," wala pa naman kasing internet nun at matagal talaga bago dumating ang sulat. Thank God for the technology today.

Ang dami ko pang coffee, wala na kong food, I'll buy another croissant.

"Excuse me Dylan," tumango lang siya. May kausap kasi siya sa phone, tumawag na siguro yung friend niya. Tumayo na ko para bumili.

Pagbalik ko tapos na sila magusap. Time to check my phone na, one missed call from my mallows. I immediately called him back.

'Baby, I'm driving right now. Can't talk to you. See you in a bit' he hung up.

Ugh. Okay. Wala man lang akong chance na makapagsalita. Makakain na nga lang.

"Everything okay?"

"Yeah, papunta na daw siya dito"

"Good" tumayo siya "he's here"

"Uhm?" Pumunta na si Dylan sa may pinto ng coffee shop. Tumingin ako sa salamin to check my face when I lift my head nasa harap ko na si Dylan and his friend.
