It was finally Friday and I couldn’t have been more excited for the date tonight. As soon as I had come home from school I dropped all my things and jumped in the shower, cleaning myself up before I start to look for something to wear. Cam had been quite about where exactly he was taking me and every time I would beg him to tell me he would turn my words against me and make it sexual so that I would be sporting a bright red blush that took nearly hours to get rid of.

So now as I practically dug out every single piece of clothing I owned out from my closet I still had no idea what to wear. I found something that might work and quickly put it on. I took a long look in the mirror wondering whether what I was wearing was too much or too little. At the moment I was wearing a nice button up blouse that paired beautifully with the black dress pants I was wearing and the black wedge booties. I looked sophisticated and professional. I nodded in agreement when I nearly slapped myself in the face. Sophisticated?! Professional!? Why in the hell would I want to look professional and sophisticated while on a date with Cameron?

“Okay get a grip Kat this is Cam we’re talking about not a bloody job interview.” I hissed under my breath as I stripped out of my clothes and dug around once more for something to wear. After two hours of searching fruitlessly from dresses to jeans and dress pants I was going to burst at any moment. Dropping down onto my bed I fished for my phone and quickly dialed Cam.

The phone rang for a total of 3 times before he picked up. “If this is you calling to cancel on me I am just letting you know at the moment that I don’t take no for an answer and to be prepared because this date will end up with a little case of kidnapping.” Cam chuckled into the phone. I smiled shaking my head in amusement.

“No this is not me calling to cancel on you, but instead to tell you how utterly annoyed I am with you at the moment. How the hell am I supposed to dress appropriately for this date if I don’t even know where the hell we are going?” I couldn’t help but shout into the phone, revealing the depth of my frustration.

“That is the point of a surprise date Kat. To BE surprised. I thought you were smart, shouldn’t you have figured that part out already?” He teased making me narrow my eyes in annoyance. “Keep pushing your luck pretty boy we’ll find out by the end of the night who’s a loser, and I can guarantee it won’t be me.” I smirked a plan suddenly molding in my head.

“You my little kitten should be careful also, like I told you before, one of these days you are going to get exactly what you ordered and I will be the one telling you ‘I told you so’.” I couldn’t help but roll my eyes, I could almost hear the smug smirk on his face and that made me want to make him eat his words all the more.

“If you’ll excuse me, I have a date to get ready for, besides I wouldn’t want to prove you right, now would I?” I asked with a smirk before I hung up giving Cam no time to reply to my little taunt. Tossing my phone onto my bed I quickly ran to one of the several piles of clothes littering my bedroom floor and searched for the pieces I would need to set my plan into motion. When I held them up to eye level I couldn’t help but giggle with anticipation. You want a surprise Cam? I’ll give you a surprise.
