"So what, you're just gonna not talk to me, huh?"

I didn't respond; I just let Roc keep talking.

"You need to just tell me what's wrong, though!"

I turned around, almost ready to smack him.

"Damn, Roc! You don't remember, really?! C'mon, it's the first year. How do you forget the first anniversary?"

His angry face turned into a soft expression.

"Oh, Jaquila. I'm sorry."

I pursed my lips.

"I'm sorry too. Sorry that I met you."

I stormed out of the house. It was ten o'clock, and all of my friends were either out with there boyfriends or fiancées. I really had no place to stay, so where was I gonna go after an argument with Roc Royal.

I looked to the sky, just in time to see a firework go off.

I felt arms wrap around me. I turned around to see Roc Royal.

I threw my arms around him.

He giggled,

I showered him in kisses

"Duh, I already know that." He smirked.
