Chapter 45 – Strung up in Jealousy

Isaac walked into his usual room at the castle. It was large, larger than any room he had ever had. He loved it due to the fact that it had so much space. It also had a kind sized bed, mini fridge, blue carpeting, a beautiful chandelier, a dresser, a walk in closet and anything else you could think of.

The Queen put it for renovation as soon as he said he wanted it. She made sure to leave it to Isaac’s liking, meaning that almost everything in the room was either of blues or white, which were Isaac favorite colors. It was known that she was fond of Isaac, almost considering him one of her own. He spent so much time at the castle on holidays it was practically like he was family, except he just wasn’t Royal.

Isaac sighed as he walked over to the phone sitting on the night stand. He hadn’t lied earlier. It was true that he needed to contact the professor about what was going on. Still, he knew he was being somewhat dramatic when it came down to giving Giselle a tour. Isaac just couldn’t stand another moment being around her. It was tearing him up inside.

He dialed the number that happened to be glued to his memory. It rang several times but no answer. Frustrated he dialed the number again but still the professor wouldn’t pick up. It was obvious that he must have been busy, still the professor was busy at an important time.

Isaac decided to call again later. He was on the edge of unhappiness due to all the emotions stirring him at once. Coming to conclusions on how to make it better he decided to settle for a cold shower, a long cold shower.

*MEANWHILE*

Bill walked into the room quickly looking over Giselle and then smiling at the Queen. He seemed a bit nervous, hoping that he wouldn’t get scolded. Miraculously he covered his nerves easily, replacing them with a grin.

“Bill, would you mind showing Giselle around?” Queen Isadora asked him. “A small tour perhaps?”

“It would be my pleasure.” He responded giving Giselle a smile.

Giselle nodded. “Thanks.”

“Not a problem.” Bill said. “The castle is somewhat remarkable.”

“That it is.” The queen added. “It shocks me Giselle, how much you look like your father. He was an amazing man.”

Giselle turned to her suddenly. “Would you… happen to know where he is?”
