Stripes

I dedicated this chapter to WOLFQUEEN01 because she was the first comment I had on this chapter[ : Hope you enjoy! :] I know this one is pretty boring, but I promise it get's better :]

  "Let's go Trojans, let's go!" I cheered along with the other fifteen girls on the cheering squad. We watched as our running back ran for a touch down, I could hear the other team's fans yell, "Yeah", or "Yes" as he was tackled by one of their defenders.

  We had no chance at winning, it was 27-41, they had gotten six touchdowns already and we had only three. I looked behind me at our fans and saw nothing, but sad or bored faces. I knew us cheerleaders had to pep up this crowd.

  I turned toward Jordi, my girl best friend  and told her to pass it on that we should do the Trojan song. Everyone one was on board, except the captain, Ashley Johnson. Who happens to hate me for no reason at all and since she decided no, we couldn't do it. 

  I looked at the crowd on the other side and saw happy, smiling faces as their cheer squad actually cheered for their team, unlike ours. I looked back at our fans one more time, then I turned around to face them and yelled, "Who are we?"

  "Trojans." They said softly. "I can't hear you, who are we?" I asked again. "Trojans!" They yelled back. The squad caught on and started clapping. "I said Who are we?". *clap* *clap*, "We are the Trojans, the mighty, might Trojans!" *clap* *clap* The whole squad cheered, even Ashley.

  "We are the Trojans, we're not bad, we're not mean, we're just cheering for the winning team!" We all yelled together as I did a back flip, while Jordi did a front flip in front of the squad.

  We landed in splits and then got up, this time she did a back flip and I did a front flip as the rest of the squad formed a pyramid, by the end of the game we had won! Everyone kept telling me it was because of my cheering, but it was the whole squad, not just me.

  "Hey, you did amazing!" I said to my boy best friend Jay, he was the quarter back on the football team. "Thanks, but what really got us into the game was you, with your cheer." He said smiling down at me. "First, it wasn't just me it was the whole squad, second, you smell." I said laughing. He smiled, "I have to go, I'm taking a ride with Dylan, bye." He said walking away.

  "Bye, smelly!" I yelled knowing he could hear me. He turned around about to say something back, but bumped into a girl, I started giggling. "You guys have it bad for each other." Jordi said, I didn't notice until now that she was walking next to me.

  "Jordi, we're like brother and sister, it would just ruin our friendship if we liked each other or tried to date." I said looking down at my white and red cheer shoes. "Sophia, just say it, you like him and you know it's true." She said poking me in the arm.

  I rolled my eyes and stayed silent, I'd figure she'd leave it alone if I stopped talking, I was right. We were walking to the snack bar, so we could get some waters, when I bumped into a guy, that looked about my age with brown hair and blonde highlights, light blue eyes and brown swirl lines in some spots, that didn't look normal. 

  "Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." He said looking up from his phone. He just stared at me for about ten seconds, then I said, "Um, it's ok, no harm done." Then walked around him back to Jordi's side. I had a feeling he was still looking at me, so I turned around to check, sure enough, he was. I turned back around quickly feeling embarrassed. 

  "What was that about?" Jordi asked nodding her head toward the guy. "I don't know, but it was really weird."
