It's Complicated With Friends

Hey Guys! This is my first story, and I would love it if you guys gave it chance and read it! I am open to suggestions and everything in between! Alrighty well ONTO THE STORY:)

Chapter 1: 

I woke up to the sound of Simple Plan blaring through my phone and instantly knew that the morning of Grade 12 had arrived. I turned and fell out of bed and instantly on butt, however the shock of falling on my hardwood floor really woke me up! I stood up slowly, rubbing away the sting on my bum and decided to take a shower, it was a good way to start the day. 

"HEYY! ARE U THERE??" I yelped and jumped away from the bathroom door and looked around the room. 

I instantly knew who it was, it was Jake, my best friend always there when I wake up, as always. However, I think I will just pull his strings for a little longer. "Spongebob? Have you come to take me jellyfishing?!" I replied with enthusiasm and hope in voice. Jake McCartney and I, will be best friends forever and always. We met during freshman year, while fighting over the last piece of cake in the cafeteria and when he won, he decided to share the piece of cake with me. I decided at that point we were going to be the greatest of friends. 

"No you crazy goof, its me Jake, are you ready for school?" Jake replied, his deep rich masculine voice flowed through the microphone, you might be wondering how we are talking to each other, we programmed both of our phones, so that when either of us call the other, it will instantly pick up. Genius RIGHT? Yeah, I did it, i have a knack for that kind of technology stuff! 

"Well, no not really I just kind of got up! I was just going to go shower, so BYE!" I screamed into the phone, and skipped while humming to the bathroom. 

I took a quick shower, only to refresh myself for the day ahead. Hopping out of the shower, I go to brush the tangles of my brown hair and picking out my school clothes for the day, settling on a pair of ripped jeans and blue sweatshirt. I left my room in the disarray it usually was in the morning with my schoolbag, ipod and textbooks, ready to embrace the day.

I entered the kitchen, grabbing a apple, throwing it up in the air and catching it, and whistling to myself. Trying to keep myself entertained while waiting for Jake's car to arrive. He usually drives me to school everyday because I don't have car of my own yet and what are best friends for? I could feel a slight excitement churring in my stomach, as I could hear Jake's car engine getting louder and I knew that he was here. 

"HONK HONK!" I hear the sound of Jake's car and I almost fly out of the house. 

"BYE MOM BYE DAD!" I scream to my parents and run out the house without waiting for my parents reply. I stand there for a moment and just admire Jake lounging in the front seat wearing his leather jacket, some blonde hair falling in front of his eyes as he drummed his fingers and shook his head to yet another song by some rock band that I did not know the name of. Rolling my eyes, I started to make my way to his car. Oh my god this guy is so hot! NO, snap out of it he can't know you love him! Oops, well know you now know my dirty little secret, I have loved my best friend from that first day when we met over that piece of cake. I tried denying it for awhile, and I was pretty good at denying it but I eventually gave up and just faced the facts that I loved him. So, now I admire Jake from afar, but I could never tell him how I feel, putting our friendship in that position could you ruin it and I just couldn't lose my closest friend. 

"Hi Jake!" I say with a smile on my face, while skipping down the pavement to his car. 

"Well, well, well Good morning my Rosa cupcake!" He said in his deep, honey glazed voice, with a smile that could light up the city! Yes, he calls me Rosa cupcake, Rosa because thats my name and cupcake because when we first met in freshman year I was wearing some brown tights, with a neon pink shirt, and he told me that it reminded him of a cupcake, and decided that cupcake was the best suited name for me. We became friends ever since. I jumped in the red ferrari, (yeah his family is rich!) and starting chatting. 

"So... are you excited for school?" I ask with a teasing smile on my face. I knew he had difficulties in school, he could never understand the questions, or do very well on his tests, I would stay up late into the night helping him with homework or test preparations, I was always there for him no matter what. I saw him wince slightly before he replied,
